    How long are SANIKB freestanding bathtubs?

    The shortest size is 1200 mm (47 in) and the longest is 2090 mm (82 in). A common pairing is 1500 mm (59 in) with 1700 mm (67 in), and some models, such as D-8371B and D-8371, add 1600 mm (63 in). Examples at the long end are D-8393 at 1800 mm (71 in), D-8009 at 1830 mm (72 in) and D-8008 at 1890 or 2090 mm (74 or 82 in). The Length filter sorts the range into five bands, from under 55 inch to 68 inch and up.

    When should I choose a back-to-wall or corner model?

    Choose back-to-wall when the tub runs along a wall and floor space is tight. Eight of the 14 back-to-wall models also have a faucet deck on the wall side, so the faucet is mounted on the tub rather than on the floor. Choose a corner model when the tub fits into the angle between two walls; see our corner bathtubs for that range.

    Which faucet does a freestanding tub need?

    Use the Faucet Mounting filter. A Floor Or Wall model is filled from a separate tub filler that stands on the floor or mounts on the wall, such as our freestanding tub faucets, so plan that supply line before the tub is set. A Deck Mounted model takes its faucet on the tub, so choose a faucet set that fits its deck or rim layout.

    Should I choose a double-ended or single-ended model?

    Double-ended models have a backrest at both ends, so the tub works in either orientation: on D-8383 and D-8393 the two ends are the same, and D-8370, D-8373, D-8377, D-8380, D-8371, D-8351 and D-8361 have a center drain. With a single-ended model, fix which way the backrest end faces in the layout before you order.

    Is there a freestanding bathtub with whirlpool jets?

    Yes, one: FT022, a single-ended slipper design 1700 mm (67 in) long, with whirlpool jets and a faucet set mounted on its rim. It is the only jetted model in this collection and is also listed with our whirlpool tubs.
