SANIKB FT036 is a stadium-oval freestanding bathtub in gloss white acrylic whose top edge flares out into a bell-like lip, over a body that narrows down to the floor. It is made in one size, SKU FT036, at 1700 × 800 × 600 mm (67 × 31.5 × 23.6 in). The flared lip forms a wide flat rim, both ends are backrests, and the rim has no tap holes, so the filler is floor-standing or wall-mounted.     FT036 is a stadium oval in plan. Its top edge flares outward into a bell-like lip, and below that the body narrows as it runs down to the floor.

    Wide flat rim formed by the flare

    The flare ends in a wide flat rim, so the top of the tub is broader than its base. The surface is gloss white.

    Backrest at both ends

    FT036 is double ended. With a backrest shape at each end, there is no fixed head end and the tub can be placed either way round on the plan.

    Because the body narrows toward the floor, the base is smaller than the 1700 × 800 mm outline at the lip, but clearances to walls and fixtures should be measured from the lip. A floor-standing faucet has to reach over the flared edge, so check the spout reach against the drawing.

    Take the drain position from the approved drawing before the floor waste is set, and measure wall clearances from the outer edge of the flared lip.

    Gloss white is the finish for FT036. Check the lip on the approval sample under neutral light if the finish has to be matched to basins or other gloss fixtures.

    The flared lip stands proud of the body, which leaves it open to impact when cartons are stacked or moved. Agree how the lip is supported inside the packing.

    Inspect the lip edge at delivery and record any chips before installation.
