Stone Sinks

Stone basins are bathroom bowls carved from solid natural blocks of marble, travertine, sandstone, limestone and onyx, supplied as both countertop vessels and freestanding pedestals. The range covers round, oval, cylinder, square and rectangular forms through fluted, boat, conical, flared and hand-carved profiles, in beige, white, black, grey, brown and green stone, each piece showing the veining of the block it was cut from. Compact vessels measure around Ø16.5" × 5.5" H, while pedestals stand up to 33.5" tall. Honed and polished finishes suit luxury residential, hotel and spa projects. Custom sizes, finishes and tap-hole drilling are available on request.

FAQs

Are stone sinks a good idea?

Stone basins are a strong fit for luxury bathroom programs, delivering natural marble, travertine, limestone and onyx surfaces that suit hotel, spa and high-end residential projects. Each piece carries the veining of the block it was cut from, so no two units read identically. The catalog covers 26 models across countertop vessels and freestanding pedestals in warm neutrals through deep greens. For distributors, that spread lets one supplier line cover both traditional and modern channels without splitting vendors.

Are stone sinks better?

Stone basins outperform on visual character and material longevity, cut from one solid quarried block rather than molded. The lineup mixes cylinder, oval, square, round and rectangular forms, with the stone vessel sinks sitting above the counter and pedestals standing freestanding. Surfaces come honed natural-face or polished. Whether stone beats other materials depends on the project brief, but for design-led interiors the natural veining gives distributors a differentiated position engineered surfaces cannot match.

Do stone sinks scratch?

Stone basins can show scratches and etching over time, a normal trait of natural marble, travertine and limestone. Honed and polished surfaces wear differently, and abrasion resistance shifts by stone type across the 26-model range. Manufacture-stage sealing slows daily marking, and a black stone sink hides marks better than pale marble. For scratch tolerance on a given stone, confirm against the model spec sheet. Distributors serving high-traffic hotel bathrooms should weight harder, darker options into the assortment.

What is the MOQ and lead time for wholesale stone sink orders?

Stone basin orders run a minimum of 50 pcs per model in this category, with lead time confirmed at quotation. Each unit is hand-carved from natural stone, so scheduling depends on the model, material and finish selected. Freestanding pedestals and countertop vessels can be combined in a single order to reach the threshold. For distributors, planning the assortment at the quote stage locks pricing and timing together and avoids splitting a program across purchase cycles.

Can SANIKB produce custom sizes or private-label stone basins?

SANIKB produces custom sizes, finishes and tap-hole drilling on request, alongside private-label programs for trade buyers. Standard bowls run fluted, boat, conical and flared profiles, plus fully hand-worked carvings across the geometric shape set. An antique stone sink can anchor a heritage line, while polished models suit contemporary ranges. For distributors, private-label capability means a basin program can carry your own brand identity rather than a generic factory label across the full catalog.

How should distributors choose stone basin models for a program?

Distributors should build a stone basin program by pairing countertop and freestanding forms across a spread of stone tones. A stone pedestal sink covers powder-room and freestanding installs, while vessels handle vanity tops. Balance pale marble against deeper limestone and onyx to serve both light and dramatic interior briefs. Anchoring the assortment on 6 to 8 core models keeps stocking lean while covering the traditional and modern channels a dealer network typically sells into.
