Two Textures
Chiselled Carrara outside, polished bowl inside
SP226 is a round Carrara White marble basin, 17.7 in across and 5.5 in tall. The outer wall is left rough-hewn while the interior is finished smooth.
Rough-hewn chiselled wall
The outside face is worked with a chiselled texture, so light breaks across it. Each piece shows a different tool pattern.
Smooth interior, easy to wipe
The bowl interior is polished to a smooth face. The white ground is referenced at #E8E3D9 with grey veining running through.
It is the textured counterpoint to the smooth bowls in our stone vessel basin program.
Fit & Clearance
450 mm nominal with a hand-worked outer face
A chiselled wall is not a machined surface, so plan the counter with a margin.
The 450 mm dimension is nominal at the chiselled face. Allow a working margin around the piece rather than designing a recess to the exact figure.
Give the texture room to be seen. Set the bowl clear of a backsplash so the chiselled wall is not half hidden.
Nominal dimensions and tolerance are stated on the approved drawing.
Construction & Finish
Carrara worked two ways on one block
Carrara White marble is the specified stone for SP226, with polished given as the finish.
Chiselled face, polished interior
Both textures come from the same block. The outer wall is chiselled after the bowl is hollowed and finished.
Chiselling is a hand operation, so texture depth and rhythm change from piece to piece. Show that as a feature in retail copy rather than as a tolerance.
Ask for photographs of several pieces if your customer expects a uniform texture.
Compliance
Setting expectations on a hand-worked face
We supply wording describing the hand-worked texture so your listing and the shipped product agree.
SP226 is specified without a certification mark and this page does not add one. Once you name the import market we set out the documents available.
Put the variation of the chiselled face in writing at the point of sale. It prevents a hand-worked texture being treated as a defect on arrival.
Procurement
Trade supply of the chiselled SP226
Published terms for the chiselled model.
Texture is the part buyers ask to own. Chisel depth, rhythm and the interior finish are developed with you on the SANIKB OEM and ODM program.
Hand-worked models run slower than machined ones. Book the quantity early if the order is tied to a store opening.

How we work
From enquiry to shipment
A factory-direct process built for importers, distributors and project buyers. No trading layer in between.
-
01
Send the enquiry
Tell us the model, quantity, destination market and any branding or packaging requirement. A spec sheet or drawing helps but is not required to start.
-
02
Our sales team contacts you
A named account manager follows up by email or WhatsApp, confirms the specification and clarifies anything missing before pricing.
-
03
Quotation
You receive a written quotation with unit price, MOQ, packing details, lead time and the trade term you asked for. Entry, mid and premium build levels can be quoted side by side.
-
04
Sample approval
We send a sample for finish, function and packaging sign-off. Branded samples are produced once artwork is confirmed.
-
05
Production and shipment
Mass production starts after sample approval and deposit. QC and inspection run before loading, then the order ships to the agreed port.
OEM and ODM to your specification
We develop to a brief. Send a reference model, a drawing or simply the price band and market you are targeting, and we will propose what fits. Entry, mid and premium builds are all available from the same factory.
