Flat-Back Beige Stone Drum Vessel Basin

SP283 is a round beige marble basin, 16.5 in across and 5.5 in tall. One side of the drum is cut flat so the bowl can sit against a wall.

It is the wall-hugging option in our stone vessel basin range for shallow vanity tops.

The flat back changes how much usable counter you keep in front of the basin.

Beige marble

Pushing the flat side to the wall moves the bowl back and frees counter at the front. That matters on shallow tops.

Fix the orientation before the top is drilled. With a flat back the tap and drain positions cannot rotate.

Orientation and tap-hole position are recorded on the approved drawing.

Beige marble is the listed stone for SP283, finished polished.

Polished

Flat face machined into the drum

The flat side is cut from the same block as the bowl. It is a machined face, not a trimmed edge added later.

Because the back is cut through the block, the vein pattern shows differently there. That face is usually hidden in the finished setting.

Ask for the flat face finished to the same standard if it will be seen.

SP283 is cUPC listed. The published specification also holds material, type, mount, finish, size and MOQ. Before it goes into a submittal, request the current listing number and certificate validity so the documentation matches your destination market.

The joint between the flat back and the wall is a site operation. Set out in your scope who supplies and applies the sealant.

Flat-back models usually follow a furniture programme. Send the range and the flat width, diameter and wall height are drawn to it under the SANIKB OEM and ODM program.

If the basin ships with vanity tops, send the top drawing so the flat face matches the joinery.

Nothing is cut until the flat-face dimension on your drawing is signed off.
