Back Detail
A stone drum with one flat back for wall settings
SP283 is a round beige marble basin, 16.5 in across and 5.5 in tall. One side of the drum is cut flat so the bowl can sit against a wall.
Flat face for a tight setting
The flattened side lets the basin sit close to a backsplash. A fully round bowl leaves a gap that collects water.
Round front, straight wall
From the room the piece still reads as a drum. The beige ground is referenced at #C9B896 with quiet veining through it.
It is the wall-hugging option in our stone vessel basin range for shallow vanity tops.
Fit & Clearance
420 mm bowl that recovers counter at the wall
The flat back changes how much usable counter you keep in front of the basin.
Pushing the flat side to the wall moves the bowl back and frees counter at the front. That matters on shallow tops.
Fix the orientation before the top is drilled. With a flat back the tap and drain positions cannot rotate.
Orientation and tap-hole position are recorded on the approved drawing.
Construction & Finish
Beige marble cut flat on one side
Beige marble is the listed stone for SP283, finished polished.
Flat face machined into the drum
The flat side is cut from the same block as the bowl. It is a machined face, not a trimmed edge added later.
Because the back is cut through the block, the vein pattern shows differently there. That face is usually hidden in the finished setting.
Ask for the flat face finished to the same standard if it will be seen.
Compliance
Who seals the joint at the wall
Supply covers the basin as specified. Site sealing and fixing sit with the installer unless your order states otherwise.
No certification mark sits on the SP283 specification, so none is claimed. The document set follows the destination. Confirm it when the RFQ is raised.
The joint between the flat back and the wall is a site operation. Set out in your scope who supplies and applies the sealant.
Procurement
Ordering the flat-back SP283 drum
Published terms for the flat-back drum.
Flat-back models usually follow a furniture programme. Send the range and the flat width, diameter and wall height are drawn to it under the SANIKB OEM and ODM program.
If the basin ships with vanity tops, send the top drawing so the flat face matches the joinery.
Include these details with the RFQ
- Model SP283 and quantity
- Vanity top or joinery drawing
- Destination port and Incoterm
- Finish required on the flat face
- Own-brand carton artwork
- Sample approval before production
Nothing is cut until the flat-face dimension on your drawing is signed off.
How we work
From enquiry to shipment
A factory-direct process built for importers, distributors and project buyers. No trading layer in between.
-
01
Send the enquiry
Tell us the model, quantity, destination market and any branding or packaging requirement. A spec sheet or drawing helps but is not required to start.
-
02
Our sales team contacts you
A named account manager follows up by email or WhatsApp, confirms the specification and clarifies anything missing before pricing.
-
03
Quotation
You receive a written quotation with unit price, MOQ, packing details, lead time and the trade term you asked for. Entry, mid and premium build levels can be quoted side by side.
-
04
Sample approval
We send a sample for finish, function and packaging sign-off. Branded samples are produced once artwork is confirmed.
-
05
Production and shipment
Mass production starts after sample approval and deposit. QC and inspection run before loading, then the order ships to the agreed port.
OEM and ODM to your specification
We develop to a brief. Send a reference model, a drawing or simply the price band and market you are targeting, and we will propose what fits. Entry, mid and premium builds are all available from the same factory.
