Pebble Form

Travertine bowl with a rounded boulder belly

SP247 is a round travertine basin, 17.7 in across and 5.1 in tall. The wall bows outward below the rim, which gives the piece its pebble shape.

01 / BELLY

Wall bows out under the rim

The widest point sits below the top edge rather than at it. The bowl looks rounded from every side, not cylindrical.

02 / TONE

Warm beige travertine ground

The stone runs beige, referenced at #C6B393. Banding wraps the belly and changes with the angle you view it from.

It sits with the other travertine pieces in our natural stone basin collection for warm-toned displays.

Fit & Clearance

Measure the belly, not the rim, at 450 mm

On a rounded body the widest dimension is not at the top. Plan the counter from the belly.

Overall size Ø17.7" × 5.1" H (Ø450 × 130 mm)
Mounting Above-counter (vessel)
Material Beige travertine

A recessed or ring-mounted layout must clear the widest section of the body. Designing to the rim diameter alone leaves the bowl sitting proud.

At 130 mm the rim sits low above the counter. It suits vanities already built to a fixed counter height.

Belly diameter and rim diameter are both dimensioned on the approved drawing.

Construction & Finish

Travertine turned to a curved body

Beige travertine is the listed material for SP247 and polished the listed finish.

Boulder cut

Curved wall worked from one block

The belly is shaped out of solid stone. A curved wall takes longer to work than a straight one and is priced accordingly.

Travertine is a natural surface and its texture is part of the material. Describe it that way in your listing so an end buyer expects stone rather than a moulded finish.

Tell us if you need a different surface treatment from the listed polish.

Compliance

Describing a natural surface accurately

DOC
Copy that matches the material

We can supply a plain-language material description for your listing so the page and the product agree.

The SP247 specification shows no certification mark, so no claim is made on this page. Which documents we can supply depends on the import country. Raise it in the RFQ.

Retail complaints on natural stone usually come from a listing that promised a uniform surface. Keep your product copy aligned with the material description we supply.

Procurement

Ordering SP247 in pebble form

Order terms for the pebble-form basin.

Published MOQ 50 pcs
Standard Lead Time 30–45 days (typical)

The belly curve is what makes the model. Its profile and the overall diameter can be reworked for a private range on the SANIKB OEM and ODM program.

Rounded bodies need more protection in transit than straight-sided bowls. Confirm your packing requirement with the order.

  • Model SP247 and quantity
  • Destination port and Incoterm
  • Packing standard required

FAQs

What makes the SP247 travertine basin different from a marble vessel?

The SP247 is shaped from beige travertine into a rounded boulder form, a sedimentary stone with characteristic natural pitting that is typically filled and honed on the working surfaces. This gives a warmer, more textured look than polished marble.

What are the SP247 dimensions and how deep is the bowl?

It measures Ø17.7" x 5.1" H (Ø450 x 130 mm), a round above-counter vessel with a moderate depth suited to general washroom use. Pair it with a vessel-height or wall faucet since no tap hole is drilled in the stone.

How is travertine cared for, and does it need sealing for commercial installs?

Travertine is porous and should be sealed before use and resealed periodically, with cleaning limited to pH-neutral products to avoid etching. Any open pores can be re-filled during maintenance to keep the surface easy to wipe down.
