Red Onyx, Ø420

An onyx stone vessel sink recorded as red onyx

Onyx is a specification decision, not a substitution. SP081 carries red onyx, polished, in the Ø16.5 inch round body.

01 / RECORD

Two colour references, one code

The material is recorded as red onyx while the colour chip held against the code reads a warm sand tone. Approve the colour on a physical sample before the scheme closes.

02 / PLACE

One basin, one focal point

A stone like this usually goes into a powder room or a suite bathroom where a single piece carries the scheme.

The stone vessel basin range carries the quieter stones in the same body.

Fit & Clearance

Nothing recessed, everything on show

Ø420 across and 140 mm proud of the counter, Ø16.5 by 5.5 inches. Everything above the worktop stays in view.

Overall Size Ø16.5" × 5.5" H (Ø420 × 140 mm)
Mounting Above-counter (vessel)
Material Red onyx
Finish Polished

Vessel mounting means the counter is cut for the waste and nothing else. The basin is visible from every side, so it is protected in transit and set last on site.

One piece per room is the usual count on a stone like this, so state the crating requirement per piece in the RFQ and inspect on arrival rather than at the point of setting. A replacement on a low count line is a fresh production run, not a stock pull.

Set the basin after the wet trades have finished on site.

Construction & Finish

Red onyx, polished, approved on a sample

Red onyx with a polished finish is what the record carries.

RED ONYX

Colour is signed off on stone

A screen colour and a stone name are not an approval. Ask for the sample against SP081 and sign it before production starts.

The record does not describe how the basin is worked or finished beyond the polished note. Leave anything further off the submittal until it is confirmed.

Keep the stone name on the PO line and on the carton label.

Compliance

Nothing claimed beyond what is recorded

DOC
Two documents, one model code

Both are issued against the model code so the stone and the size read the same on every document.

No approval scheme is recorded for SP081, so nothing of the kind is stated here or on a quotation.

What is required changes with the destination market. Name yours on the enquiry and it is answered with the quote.

Procurement

Low counts on a feature stone

The factory quotes small feature lines beside the volume codes.

Published MOQ 50 pcs
Standard Lead Time 30–45 days after sample approval

A feature basin is rarely a large count. Several codes can sit on one order, so a low quantity of onyx moves with the rest of the schedule.

Feature stones ship in small counts, so own label cartons and printed artwork are quoted with them under the SANIKB OEM and ODM programme. The answer is back within 12 hours.

Include these details with the RFQ

  • Quantity by model code
  • Colour approved on a physical sample
  • Stone and finish written per line
  • Counter drawing with waste opening
  • Carton marking and artwork
  • Destination port and Incoterm
  • Target shipment date

50 pcs is the MOQ even on a feature stone. Confirm the count at quote.

FAQs

What are the material and finish of the SP081 basin?

SP081 is carved from red onyx and polished to a smooth, reflective bowl that draws out the stone's warm veining. Each piece varies in color banding and pattern, so tone consistency across a batch cannot be guaranteed on natural material. Sold as a stone countertop sink, it fits boutique-hotel and design-led vanities rather than uniform volume specs. For matched sets, request written confirmation from the factory on acceptable color range.

What are the dimensions of the SP081, and how is the counter planned?

SP081 measures Ø16.5" × 5.5" H (Ø420 × 140 mm), a compact round vessel that rests fully above the counter. The vanity top needs no bowl cutout, only a drain opening, so one countertop layout can carry several basin shapes in the same line. Confirm the drain position against the model spec sheet before fabrication to keep faucet and pop-up placement correct.

How does the SP081 compare with the SP113B?

SP081 is a round red-onyx bowl at Ø16.5" × 5.5" H (Ø420 × 140 mm), while the black stone vessel sink SP113B is a rectangular black fossil-limestone basin at 23.6" × 17.7" (600 × 450 × 140 mm). Both are polished above-counter vessels sharing drain planning, so the split is color, shape, and footprint. Stock both to cover warm round accents and larger dark rectangular vanities across your accounts.
