Rough & Smooth
Natural-face travertine boat with a honed interior
SP406 is a boat-shaped travertine basin, 17.7 in long by 15.7 in wide. The outside keeps a rough-hewn natural face while the bowl is worked smooth.
Outer face left as split stone
The exterior is not polished flat. It keeps the broken texture of the stone, so no two faces match.
Honed bowl with a low sheen
Inside, the bowl is honed rather than polished. The finish is matt and the beige ground reads at #D8C7A8.
It is the rustic piece in our natural stone basin collection, set against the polished bowls.
Fit & Clearance
450 by 400 mm on a low 120 mm rim
A wide plan and a low rise make this an easy fit on existing vanity heights.
At 120 mm the rim adds less height than most vessel bowls. It suits refurbishment where counter height is fixed.
The natural face is not machined, so treat the 450 mm and 400 mm figures as nominal. Allow a margin rather than cutting to the exact number.
The variation accepted on the natural face is written onto the drawing you approve.
Construction & Finish
Travertine finished two ways on one piece
SP406 is specified in beige travertine with a natural-face and honed finish.
Split face kept, interior honed
The rough exterior is the stone as it breaks. Only the bowl and rim are worked, which is what gives the contrast.
Because the outer face is not machined, texture and edge profile change from piece to piece. Describe that variation at the point of sale.
A fully honed exterior can be quoted if a project needs a calmer face.
Compliance
Describing a natural-face finish
We state the natural-face description on the order confirmation so both sides use the same wording.
SP406 is specified without a certification mark, and none is claimed here. Put the destination market on the enquiry so documents are prepared alongside production.
A natural-face product needs its variation written into your listing. Without it, normal texture differences get logged as damage on arrival.
Procurement
Buying SP406 for hospitality and retail
Published terms for the natural-face boat.
A natural face cannot be standardised, but how much of it stays rough can. Face treatment and interior finish are agreed on the SANIKB OEM and ODM program.
Rough-faced pieces need heavier transit protection than smooth ones. Confirm the packing standard before the order is placed.
Include these details with the RFQ
- Model SP406 and quantity
- Exterior face, natural or honed
- Destination port and Incoterm
- Accepted variation on the face
- Own-brand carton artwork
- Sample approval before production
Approve a sample before bulk, since this face varies more than a machined bowl.
How we work
From enquiry to shipment
A factory-direct process built for importers, distributors and project buyers. No trading layer in between.
-
01
Send the enquiry
Tell us the model, quantity, destination market and any branding or packaging requirement. A spec sheet or drawing helps but is not required to start.
-
02
Our sales team contacts you
A named account manager follows up by email or WhatsApp, confirms the specification and clarifies anything missing before pricing.
-
03
Quotation
You receive a written quotation with unit price, MOQ, packing details, lead time and the trade term you asked for. Entry, mid and premium build levels can be quoted side by side.
-
04
Sample approval
We send a sample for finish, function and packaging sign-off. Branded samples are produced once artwork is confirmed.
-
05
Production and shipment
Mass production starts after sample approval and deposit. QC and inspection run before loading, then the order ships to the agreed port.
OEM and ODM to your specification
We develop to a brief. Send a reference model, a drawing or simply the price band and market you are targeting, and we will propose what fits. Entry, mid and premium builds are all available from the same factory.
