Grain Direction
Straight Wood-Vein Grain on a Grey Oval Basin
Athens Grey wooden-vein marble on an oval body of 460 by 360 mm, 150 mm high. SP519 reads as banded grain rather than scattered veining.
Banded, wood-like veining
Athens Grey runs in straight bands rather than scattered clouds. Cut across an oval, those bands read as a repeating grain along the bowl.
Mid grey with a warm cast
The grey sits between the white and black stones in this group. It works where a pure white basin would look cold against timber joinery.
Specifiers usually shortlist two greys before committing. The alternatives sit together with the grey and veined stone basins.
Fit & Clearance
Placing a Small Oval Basin on a Narrow Vanity
The 360 mm depth normally decides whether this oval fits.
On a shallow vanity the oval keeps front-to-back space free for the tap. Check that the spout clears the 150 mm rim before ordering.
Grain direction matters on this model. Tell us which way the bands should run if your client has approved a reference image.
Fix the drain center on the approved drawing, since an oval is not symmetrical in both directions.
Construction & Finish
Athens Grey Wooden-Vein Marble and Its Grain
Each basin is cut from block, so band spacing changes piece to piece.
Band spacing is not identical
Two basins from one order look related rather than identical. Say so in retail copy to avoid returns raised on appearance.
The polished surface brings the bands forward. A client expecting a flat, even grey should see a real sample before the order is confirmed.
Sample approval before bulk is the simplest way to close appearance disputes.
Compliance
Market Documentation Handled at the RFQ Stage
Issued on request so the end client signs off on band direction before cutting starts.
Published data for SP519 stops at material, oval vessel form, 460 x 360 x 150 mm, mount and finish. No certification appears there, and this page does not add one.
Documentation is a per-market question, not a per-model one. Confirm the destination and we will list what has to be prepared.
Procurement
Buying SP519 in Mixed Container Loads
Quoted factory-direct for distributors, project buyers and private-label programs.
Grain orientation, size changes and private-label inserts are handled by the SANIKB OEM and ODM program.
Include these details with the RFQ
- Quantity per model and container fill
- Destination market and paperwork required
- Band direction along the oval
- Drain opening and overflow detail
- Private-label carton and insert artwork
- Sample pieces and approval timing
MOQ applies per model. Mixed-model containers and the final lead time are set on the quotation.
How we work
From enquiry to shipment
A factory-direct process built for importers, distributors and project buyers. No trading layer in between.
-
01
Send the enquiry
Tell us the model, quantity, destination market and any branding or packaging requirement. A spec sheet or drawing helps but is not required to start.
-
02
Our sales team contacts you
A named account manager follows up by email or WhatsApp, confirms the specification and clarifies anything missing before pricing.
-
03
Quotation
You receive a written quotation with unit price, MOQ, packing details, lead time and the trade term you asked for. Entry, mid and premium build levels can be quoted side by side.
-
04
Sample approval
We send a sample for finish, function and packaging sign-off. Branded samples are produced once artwork is confirmed.
-
05
Production and shipment
Mass production starts after sample approval and deposit. QC and inspection run before loading, then the order ships to the agreed port.
OEM and ODM to your specification
We develop to a brief. Send a reference model, a drawing or simply the price band and market you are targeting, and we will propose what fits. Entry, mid and premium builds are all available from the same factory.
