Design
A plain round fossil limestone bowl in near black
SP178 is a round above-counter basin in fossil limestone, 16.5 in across and 5.5 in tall. The wall is left plain so the stone does the work.
Fossil scatter on a dark body
Cream fossil rings sit across a near-black ground referenced at #25221F. The pattern is different on every piece.
Unbroken wall, no shaping
There is no fluting, step or foot. A clean cylinder keeps attention on the fossil marks and suits plain joinery.
It is the quiet option in our stone vessel basin range when a room already carries pattern elsewhere.
Fit & Clearance
420 mm across with 140 mm above the counter
A plain cylinder gives a simple footprint. Rim diameter and base diameter are effectively the same.
Allow the full 420 mm of flat counter plus a working margin front and back. Nothing narrows toward the base.
Dark stone shows water marks more readily than pale. A spout aimed at the drain keeps splash inside the bowl.
Drain position is confirmed on the drawing issued with the quotation.
Construction & Finish
Fossil limestone with the finish confirmed at sample
SP178 is specified in fossil limestone. The finish recorded on the specification is polished.
One block, worked and finished
The bowl is cut from solid limestone. Surface treatment is applied after shaping, not before.
The model name carries a honed descriptor while the specification lists polished. Confirm in writing which face your order is built to, since the two read very differently in dark stone.
A honed and a polished piece can be quoted side by side if you want to compare.
Compliance
Get the finish and the paperwork in writing
Finish, stone type and documentation scope are recorded on the order confirmation.
No certification appears against SP178. This page claims none. Where the order is going decides the paperwork, so raise it at RFQ stage.
Written confirmation of finish and stone type belongs in the order file. It settles a later appearance dispute with a retail customer.
Procurement
Buying SP178 for stock or for a project
Published terms for the plain fossil bowl.
Finish is the variable worth locking down for a house range. Alternative faces and own-brand packaging are handled on the SANIKB OEM and ODM program.
Stocking distributors take it alongside a pale bowl so the display covers both ends of the palette.

How we work
From enquiry to shipment
A factory-direct process built for importers, distributors and project buyers. No trading layer in between.
-
01
Send the enquiry
Tell us the model, quantity, destination market and any branding or packaging requirement. A spec sheet or drawing helps but is not required to start.
-
02
Our sales team contacts you
A named account manager follows up by email or WhatsApp, confirms the specification and clarifies anything missing before pricing.
-
03
Quotation
You receive a written quotation with unit price, MOQ, packing details, lead time and the trade term you asked for. Entry, mid and premium build levels can be quoted side by side.
-
04
Sample approval
We send a sample for finish, function and packaging sign-off. Branded samples are produced once artwork is confirmed.
-
05
Production and shipment
Mass production starts after sample approval and deposit. QC and inspection run before loading, then the order ships to the agreed port.
