    FT017/FT018 is designed around its rear deck. The deck is wide and flat along the back, the front corners are rounded, and the back edge is straight for the wall.

    Taps mount on the rear deck. FT017/FT018 is shown with five fittings there: a spout, three cross-handle valves and a hand shower. The drilling pattern is confirmed on the approved drawing, and whether the fittings are part of the order is agreed at quotation.

    Single-ended bowl

    One end of the bowl is shaped as the backrest, so the bather faces the opposite end. Check which end that is on the approved drawing when laying out the room.

    Tubs filled from a floor-standing or wall-mounted filler instead of deck taps are also in the freestanding bathtub range.

    The tub sits flat on the floor rather than on feet or a plinth, so the floor under it should be level across the full length.

    Taps set into the deck add exposed points. Agree how the deck is protected in the carton and how any transit damage is reported.

    Put the damage reporting window in writing before the order ships.
