SANIKB D-8387 is a white oval acrylic freestanding bathtub with straight upright walls covered in fine, close-set vertical ribbing. The ribs rise to a thin rim with a finely serrated edge. The tub is double-ended with a center drain and is made in two lengths at 800 mm wide: D-8387-150 at 1500 × 800 × 580 mm (59 × 31.5 × 22.8 in) and D-8387-170 at 1700 × 800 × 580 mm (67 × 31.5 × 22.8 in).

The rim has no tap holes; the faucet is floor-standing or wall-mounted. D-8387 is cUPC certified; compare deeper fluting in the freestanding bathtubs.

Close-set vertical ribs on upright walls

D-8387 uses fine vertical ribbing packed closely around the outer wall. The walls are straight and upright, and the stadium plan is symmetric.

Fine and close-set

The ribs are narrow and tightly spaced, giving a fine linear texture rather than bold flutes. On the drawing the ribbing shows as a finely stepped outline around the plan.

Finely serrated edge

The ribs run up to a thin rim, and the edge of that rim is finely serrated.

800 × 580 mm section in two lengths

Both D-8387 sizes are 800 mm (31.5 in) wide and 580 mm (22.8 in) high. The lengths are 1500 mm (59 in) and 1700 mm (67 in).

The drawing sets 250 mm from each outer end to the inner basin, leaving an inner length of 1000 mm on the 1500 mm size and 1200 mm on the 1700 mm size. With the drain in the center, the tub can face either way.

Confirm the drain point against the approved drawing before the floor waste goes in.

White acrylic, ribbed shell

D-8387 is made from pure acrylic sheet in white; the fine ribs and the serrated rim edge are molded into the shell itself.

The fine ribs give the tub its character; the color is white across both sizes.

Fine ribs and a serrated rim can chip if a carton is dropped on an edge. Agree the packing and a written damage-reporting process before shipment.

The finish sheen is approved on the sample before production.

What sizes is D-8387 made in?

D-8387-150 at 1500 x 800 x 580 mm (59 x 31.5 x 22.8 in) and D-8387-170 at 1700 x 800 x 580 mm (67 x 31.5 x 22.8 in).

How is D-8387 different from a deep-fluted tub?

Its ribbing is fine and close-set rather than deep and widely spaced, and the rim edge is finely serrated. The walls are straight and upright, and the tub is white.

Is there a head end?

No. The plan is symmetric, both ends are shaped for reclining and the drain is in the center, so the tub is double-ended.

What faucet does D-8387 take?

D-8387 takes a filler mounted on the floor or on the wall; the serrated rim has no tap holes. Because the drain is centered, the filler position can follow the plumbing layout.

What are the inside dimensions and drain position?

The drawing shows an inner length of 1000 mm on the 1500 mm size and 1200 mm on the 1700 mm size, with an inside depth of 450 mm. The drain is central, and its exact setting-out comes from the approved drawing.
