SANIKB D-8302 is a double-ended acrylic freestanding bathtub with a soft rounded-rectangle plan and a tulip profile: the gloss white body flares out toward a slim rim and curves in to a narrow pedestal foot. It is made in two sizes, D-8302-150 at 1500 × 780 × 600 mm (59 × 30.7 × 23.6 in) and D-8302-170 at 1700 × 790 × 600 mm (67 × 31.1 × 23.6 in). The drain sits at the center and the overflow at the rim. With no tap holes in the slim rim, D-8302 is filled from a floor-standing or wall-mounted filler.

Tulip-shaped body on a central pedestal

D-8302 has a cushion-shaped plan that is symmetric from end to end. In elevation the walls flare out toward the rim and draw in to a low pedestal under the middle of the tub.

01 / PEDESTAL

A 1000 mm foot under a longer body

The drawing shows the tub carried on a central pedestal 1000 mm (39.4 in) long, so both ends of the body overhang the base. That narrow foot band is what gives D-8302 its tulip outline.

02 / BACKRESTS

Matching slopes at both ends

Both ends are shaped for reclining, and the drain is placed at the middle of the basin, so neither end is taken up by waste fittings. The overflow is set at the rim.

The drawing marks inner depths of 450 mm and 470 mm (17.7 and 18.5 in). The drain is at the middle of the tub, directly above the pedestal, so take the floor waste position from the approved drawing rather than from the outer body.

Check the pedestal length and inner depth for the chosen size on the approved drawing before the bathroom layout is fixed.

Construction & Finish

D-8302 is formed from pure acrylic sheet and finished in gloss white, with a slim rim above the flared walls.

Exterior on show from every side

A freestanding tulip body is seen all the way round, so the gloss white exterior matters as much at sample approval as the basin does.

Confirm at quotation how the drain and overflow trim is supplied and in which finish, since the trim is visible at the rim.

A pedestal base and a flared body make an irregular load. Agree how each unit is braced inside its carton and how transit damage is reported.

Inspect the flared exterior on arrival and log any marks within the reporting window agreed in the supply contract.
