SANIKB D-8098 is a white acrylic freestanding bathtub with both ends raised, but not in the same way: one end is steeply raked outward like a slipper backrest, and the other is more upright and holds the overflow. The rim dips in the middle and the body tapers to a flat footprint. Sizes are D-8098-170, 1700 × 800 × 720 mm (67 × 31.5 × 28.3 in), and D-8098-180, 1800 × 800 × 720 mm (71 × 31.5 × 28.3 in). With no tap holes in the rim, it takes a floor-standing or wall-mounted filler.

One raked end, one upright end

D-8098 is a double slipper with a directional profile. The raked end is the taller one on the drawing, at 720 mm (28.3 in), and the opposite end stands more upright.

At the tall end the outer wall leans well outward, which sets a reclined back angle at that end.

Overflow and drain end

The more upright end carries the overflow, and the drawing puts the drain 280 mm (11.0 in) from that end.

The drain is off center, close to the upright end, so the floor waste has to match the way the tub faces in the room. Request the inner depth on the approved drawing if the specification calls for it.

Fix the D-8098 orientation first, then set the floor waste to the approved drawing.

The tapered body sits flat on the floor. Because the raked end leans out past the base, allow for that overhang when the tub is set close to a wall.

Is D-8098 offered in more than one length?

Yes. Two lengths share the 800 mm width and 720 mm height: D-8098-170 at 1700 × 800 × 720 mm (67 × 31.5 × 28.3 in) and D-8098-180 at 1800 × 800 × 720 mm (71 × 31.5 × 28.3 in).

How do the two ends of D-8098 differ?

Both ends are raised and the rim dips between them. One end is taller, at 720 mm (28.3 in), with an outer wall raked steeply outward as a slipper backrest; the other end is more upright and holds the overflow.

Does the D-8098 drain sit near one end?

Yes. The drawing places it 280 mm (11.0 in) from the upright end and 400 mm (15.7 in) from the side.
