Sweeping rim over a sculpted basin

FT035 is an oval freestanding tub with one raised end. The slim rim rises in a single sweep toward that end, and the inside of the tub is shaped in curves.

01 / SWEEP

Rim rising to one end

From the low end the rim lifts steadily to the raised end, which serves as the backrest. The overall height of 580 mm (22.8 in) is taken there.

02 / INTERIOR

Curved basin surfaces

The basin is sculpted with curved surfaces rather than plain flat walls. Its interior profile is confirmed on the approved drawing and the approval sample.

The rim has no tap holes. A floor-standing filler needs its supply brought up through the floor beside the tub, so fix that position before the floor is finished; a wall-mounted spout must reach over the rim.

The sculpted interior and the sweeping rim are both finished in gloss white. Fix the finish on the approved sample before the order runs.

The raised end is the tallest part of the shell. Ask how it and the slim rim are protected inside the carton during loading.
