SANIKB D-8089 is a single-slipper acrylic freestanding bathtub in white with a very tall backrest end that sweeps up to 890 mm (35 in). The foot end stays low and level, holding the overflow slot and the drain. Two lengths are made: D-8089-170 at 1700 × 800 × 890 mm (67 × 31.5 × 35.0 in) and D-8089-180 at 1800 × 800 × 890 mm (71 × 31.5 × 35.0 in). Inner depth on the drawing is 470 mm (18.5 in). The rim carries no tap holes, so D-8089 is filled from a floor-standing or wall-mounted filler at the low end.

    890 mm swept backrest over a level foot end

    The backrest end of D-8089 rises to 890 mm (35.0 in), the tallest point of the shell. The opposite end is low and level and carries the overflow slot and drain.

    The rim sweeps steeply up at one end, giving a high back to recline against and a pronounced side profile in the room.

    Level foot end with overflow

    The low end is level, with the overflow slot and drain grouped there. The drawing places the drain 305 mm (12.0 in) from that end and 400 mm (15.7 in) from the side.

    D-8089 is made in white. Agree the surface sheen on the sample, since the tall back shows the finish over a large area.

    The 890 mm backrest is the part of the shell most likely to be knocked during unloading. Ask for the carton design and the handling marks to reflect that.
