Round Cylinder Freestanding Tub on Recessed Plinth, 55 in Diameter
SANIKB D-8028 is a round freestanding bathtub in gloss white acrylic, shaped as a true cylinder with vertical walls and a slim rim. The shell stands on a slightly recessed plinth ring set in from the wall. It is made in one size, SKU D-8028, at 1400 × 1400 × 600 mm (55 × 55.1 × 23.6 in), with the drain at the center of the circle, 700 mm from the outer edge.
The rim has no tap holes, so a floor-standing or wall-mounted faucet fills the tub. D-8028 is cUPC certified, and a quotation for the round tub is returned within 12 business hours. Short-footprint options are collected under small bathtubs.

Plan & Base
A 1400 mm round shell on a recessed plinth
D-8028 has a round plan with straight vertical walls, so it takes the form of a cylinder rather than a bowl. A base ring set slightly in from the wall carries the shell.

The plan is a circle 1400 mm (55 in) in diameter, and the drain sits at its center, 700 mm from the outer edge.
Recessed base ring
A plinth set back from the outer wall carries the shell. The recess leaves a shadow line at floor level under the vertical walls.

A round tub needs the same clearance on every side. Measure the room against a 1400 mm circle plus working space, and set the floor waste under the middle of that circle.
Check the drain point against the approved drawing before the screed is laid.

D-8028 is made from pure acrylic sheet with a gloss white surface.

One curved face
With vertical walls all the way round, the gloss surface wraps the tub as a single curved face with no ends or corners.
A cylinder has no flat side to rest on in the carton. Ask how the shell is braced for transit, and check the rim and the base ring on arrival.
Check gloss level and white tone against the approval sample.
