Ends that flare from a narrow base

D-8319 has straight long sides and round ends on a symmetric stadium plan. The ends flare outward as they rise, so the rim is longer than the base.

The flare on D-8319 is at the ends rather than along the sides, which keeps the long sides plain and smooth while the rim reaches its full length.

Drain at the exact center

The drawing places the drain 850 mm (33 in) from the end on the 1700 mm size, 750 mm (30 in) on the 1500 mm size, and 400 mm (15.7 in) from the side on both.

A waste point at the middle of the footprint

The drawing sets D-8319 at 1500 or 1700 mm (59 or 67 in) in length on an 800 mm (31.5 in) by 600 mm (23.6 in) section. Its drain position is half the length and half the width.

Because the D-8319 base is shorter than the rim, leave clearance to walls based on the rim length. The rim is not drilled for taps, so allow for a floor-standing or wall-mounted filler in the layout.

D-8319 is made from pure acrylic sheet with a gloss white finish and plain, untextured sides.

The plain sides of D-8319 leave the flared ends and the gloss surface to carry the design. Fix the finish with an approved sample.

The flared ends of D-8319 overhang the base, so they take the first contact in handling. Ask how the ends are cushioned in the carton.

Record any damage to the ends or rim at delivery, before the tub is installed.

There are two: D-8319-150 for rooms that take a 1500 x 800 x 600 mm (59 x 31.5 x 23.6 in) tub, and D-8319-170 at 1700 x 800 x 600 mm (67 x 31.5 x 23.6 in).

Where exactly is the D-8319 drain?

At the center of the plan: 850 mm (33 in) from the end on the 1700 mm size or 750 mm (30 in) on the 1500 mm size, and 400 mm (15.7 in) from the side.

Does D-8319 have one backrest or two?

Double ended. Both ends slope for reclining and the drain is centered, so the tub is not handed.
