SANIKB D-8505 is an oval acrylic freestanding bathtub whose outer wall carries diagonal, swirling wave ridges molded into the shell. A rounded rolled lip finishes the rim, and the tub is double-ended in white. Two sizes are made: D-8505-150 at 1500 × 780 × 600 mm (59 × 30.7 × 23.6 in) and D-8505-170 at 1700 × 780 × 600 mm (67 × 30.7 × 23.6 in), both at the same 780 mm width.

    Texture & Rim

    Diagonal wave ridges under a rolled lip

    The exterior of D-8505 is not smooth. Wave ridges run diagonally across the outside wall, and the rim is a rounded rolled lip rather than a thin edge.

    Molded swirl pattern

    The ridges are formed in the acrylic shell and follow a diagonal line across the outside wall. They are the main visual difference between D-8505 and a plain oval tub.

    Rounded rolled lip

    The top edge turns over into a rounded rolled lip, giving a thicker, softer edge than the slim rims used on many oval tubs.

    D-8505 is made from pure acrylic sheet in white, with the wave ridges formed in the shell itself.

    Texture in a single color

    The wave pattern is carried by relief alone, with the tub in one white color. The texture shows through light and shadow rather than contrast.

    Keep the protective packing on until the tub is set in place, so the ridges are not scuffed during site work. Agree in advance how transit damage is recorded and reported.

    The sheen of the ridged shell is confirmed on the approval sample before production is released.

    Is D-8505 double-ended?

    Yes. Both ends of the oval are shaped for reclining, so the bather can face either direction and the tub can be turned to suit the room.

    What faucet does D-8505 use?

    The rolled rim has no tap holes, so D-8505 takes a floor-standing or wall-mounted faucet. Choose a spout reach that clears the rolled lip.

    What does the outside of D-8505 look like?

    The outer wall has diagonal, swirling wave ridges molded into the acrylic shell, finished with a rounded rolled lip. The tub is made in white.
