SANIKB FT011/FT012 is a double-ended oval freestanding bathtub in white acrylic, with a rounded body that tapers toward the floor under a slim rim. It is made in two sizes, and the shorter one is the wider: FT011 at 1500 × 820 × 590 mm (59 × 32.3 × 23.2 in) and FT012 at 1700 × 800 × 590 mm (67 × 31.5 × 23.2 in). No tap holes are drilled in the slim rim, so FT011/FT012 is filled from a floor-standing or wall-mounted filler. It stands flat on the floor and is cUPC certified.

Rounded oval body that narrows toward the floor

FT011/FT012 has a rounded body that tapers as it comes down to the floor, finished with a slim rim. Both ends are backrests, so the tub can be turned end for end in the room.

01 / BODY

Tapering sides on a compact plan

The sides draw inward toward the base, so the footprint on the floor is smaller than the outline at the rim. The 1500 mm size is the shorter of the two, yet at 820 mm it is also the wider.

02 / FAUCET

Floor-standing or wall-mounted filler

The rim has no tap holes. Fill FT011/FT012 from a floor-standing filler beside the tub, or from a wall-mounted spout where the supply runs inside the wall.

Check room width as well as length when choosing a size, since the 1500 mm version is 20 mm wider than the 1700 mm one. Other outlines sit in the freestanding bathtub range.

Both FT011/FT012 sizes stand 590 mm (23.2 in) high. Length rises from 1500 to 1700 mm while width moves the other way, from 820 to 800 mm.

Faucet Mount: Floor-standing or wall-mounted

A floor-standing faucet needs its supply pipes brought up through the floor next to the tub, so mark the faucet spot on the plan together with the drain. For a wall-mounted filler, set the spout height and reach against the 590 mm rim before the wall is tiled.

Take the drain position for each of the two sizes from the approved drawing, since their widths differ.

FT011/FT012 is made from pure acrylic sheet in white, with the same slim rim on both sizes.

Sheen confirmed on the sample

White is the color for both sizes. The surface sheen is confirmed on the approval sample, so compare the sample with other white fixtures if the tub has to sit beside them.

A tapered body stands on a base smaller than its rim, so the floor under it should be flat and level before the tub is set.

Open and inspect each carton on delivery, and record any marks on the rim before the tub is installed.

What are the two FT011/FT012 sizes?

FT011 measures 1500 x 820 x 590 mm (59 x 32.3 x 23.2 in) and FT012 measures 1700 x 800 x 590 mm (67 x 31.5 x 23.2 in). Both sizes share the same height.

Why is the shorter FT011/FT012 size wider?

The two sizes are proportioned differently: the 1500 mm version is 820 mm wide and the 1700 mm version is 800 mm wide. Check the width against a vanity or door opening as well as the length.

Does FT011/FT012 have a head end?

No. It is double ended, with a backrest shape at both ends, so the bather can recline facing either way.
