    Offset basin with a wide rim for deck taps

    D-8358 is elliptical in plan with a level rim, but the basin is not centered across the width. It is shifted toward one long side: the basin floor sits 180 mm (7.1 in) from one long edge and 90 mm (3.5 in) from the other, so the rim is wider on the faucet side.

    The wider side of the D-8358 rim is the faucet deck, with three holes for a deck-mounted set. The hole layout is confirmed on the approved drawing against the faucet chosen for the project.

    1150 or 950 mm inner length

    Set 275 mm (11 in) in from each end, the basin floor is 1150 mm (45 in) long on the 1700 mm size and 950 mm (37 in) on the 1500 mm size, and 530 mm (20.9 in) wide.

    Both D-8358 sizes are 800 mm (31.5 in) wide and 600 mm (23.6 in) high; length is 1500 mm (59 in) or 1700 mm (67 in). Place the wide rim on the side where the supply pipes will rise.

    Deck-mounted taps need supply lines brought up under the tub to the wider rim, so that pipework has to be in place before D-8358 is set. The drawing places the overflow 90 mm (3.5 in) from the edge.
