Straight vertical walls, square corners

D-8051A is a plain box: four vertical walls, square corners and a flat rim that is fairly wide all the way round. The plan is symmetric, with the drain on the center line.

Vertical sides to the floor

The walls drop straight to the floor with no taper or flare. Square corners and straight sides make it simple to line the tub up with wall lines or floor tile joints.

02 / RIM

Flat rim around the basin

A flat, fairly wide rim runs around all four sides of D-8051A. It has no tap holes, so the faucet is a floor-standing or wall-mounted filler.

D-8051A measures 1500 x 780 mm or 1700 x 800 mm in plan and is 600 mm (23.6 in) high in both sizes. The drawn inner depth is 460 to 470 mm (18.1 to 18.5 in).

Plan clearances from the full 1500 x 780 mm or 1700 x 800 mm overall size, and keep enough gap behind the tub to clean. The floor waste goes at the center point for the chosen length: 750 mm from the end and 390 mm from the side on the shorter tub, 850 mm and 400 mm on the longer one.

Read the drain coordinates for the 1500 mm or 1700 mm size off the approved drawing before the waste is placed.

Which two footprints is D-8051A built in?

The 1500 mm version, D-8051A-150, is 1500 x 780 x 600 mm (59 x 30.7 x 23.6 in); the 1700 mm version, D-8051A-170, is 1700 x 800 x 600 mm (67 x 31.5 x 23.6 in). Width steps up from 780 to 800 mm on the longer size.

Where is the drain, and which way does D-8051A face?

The plan is symmetric and the drain is at the center: 750 or 850 mm from the end and 390 or 400 mm from the side. With no offset drain, the tub can be turned either way.
