SANIKB FT051/FT052 is a freestanding tub with a faucet ledge: a stadium-oval, double-ended acrylic bath whose back long side rises into a flat deck with faucet holes. The faucet mounts on the tub itself rather than on a floor riser or the wall, and whether a faucet set is supplied is agreed at quotation. Two sizes are made: FT051 at 1500 × 750 × 580 mm (59 × 29.5 × 22.8 in) and FT052 at 1700 × 800 × 580 mm (67 × 31.5 × 22.8 in). The shell is gloss white pure acrylic with a slim rim, and the base sits flat on the floor with no feet or plinth.

Stadium-oval body with an integrated faucet ledge

Both ends of the oval interior are shaped as backrests, and one long side is built up into a flat ledge. The faucet holes are in that ledge, so the whole faucet group stays on the tub and off the floor.

The 1500 mm size is shown with a spout, three handles and a hand shower set into the ledge. The faucet scope for your order, and how the ledge is drilled for it, is agreed at quotation.

02 / BACKREST

Double-ended bathing well

Both ends of the interior are shaped as backrests, so a bather can face either way while the ledge stays along the side instead of taking up an end.

Two lengths, 59 in and 67 in, at one 580 mm height

Height is 580 mm (22.8 in) on both SKUs. The 1700 mm size is also 50 mm wider than the 1500 mm size, at 800 mm against 750 mm.

Plan where the supply lines will reach the faucet on the ledge, and fix which side of the room the ledge faces against the approved drawing before rough-in starts.

Confirm the drain position and the ledge dimensions on the approved drawing before the layout is fixed.

Construction & Finish

Pure acrylic sheet in gloss white

FT051/FT052 is formed from pure acrylic sheet, finished in gloss white with a slim rim.

One finish for both SKUs

Both sizes are made in gloss white. Ask for a finish sample with the quotation if the tub has to sit next to other white sanitaryware.

The faucet ledge adds a raised edge along one side of the rim. Ask how the ledge corners are protected inside the carton during transit.

Write down, before the first shipment, how a scratched or cracked unit is reported and how the replacement is sent.

Check each ledge corner when the carton is opened and note any mark on the delivery note.

Keep the FT051/FT052 tub documents and any faucet documents as two items in the file, each with its own reference.

FT051/FT052 is cUPC certified. When the tub is written into a submittal, ask for the certificate number and its validity date to be quoted against FT051 and FT052.

If a faucet set is supplied for the ledge, it goes on the quotation as a separate line so its own documents are checked. We answer every inquiry in writing within 12 business hours.

FT051 measures 1500 × 750 × 580 mm (59 × 29.5 × 22.8 in) and FT052 measures 1700 × 800 × 580 mm (67 × 31.5 × 22.8 in). The height is 580 mm on both.

Does the faucet ledge on FT051/FT052 take up one of the ends?
