SANIKB D-8370 is a matte white acrylic oval freestanding bathtub whose body bulges gently below a thin rim and then curves in at the foot, giving a fuller side profile than a straight taper. In plan it has rounded ends and straight sides, with the drain and overflow centered, so it is double-ended. It is made in two sizes: D-8370-150 at 1500 × 800 × 610 mm (59 × 31.5 × 24.0 in) and D-8370-170 at 1700 × 800 × 610 mm (67 × 31.5 × 24.0 in).

A gently bellied body that curves in at the foot

In side view, D-8370 swells slightly below the rim and then turns inward toward the floor. In plan it is a stadium oval with rounded ends and straight sides.

The outer wall bows out gently before curving back in at the foot, so the body looks fuller than a straight taper.

02 / DRAIN & OVERFLOW

Centered drain and overflow

Both the drain and the overflow are on the center line of the tub. With matching ends, there is no fixed head position.

On the drawing for the 1500 mm size, the length breaks down as 260 + 980 + 260 mm and the width as 130 + 540 + 130 mm. Read the 1700 mm figures from its own approved drawing.

Set out the center drain from the approved drawing before the floor waste is installed.

D-8370 is made from pure acrylic sheet with a matte white surface.

Low-sheen surface

The matte finish keeps reflections low across the curved body. Approve the finish on a sample and hold that sample as the reference for the order.

Matte surfaces can show scuffs from handling. Keep the tub wrapped until it is set in position, and agree a written damage report procedure before shipment.

Hold the approved sample as the finish reference for repeat orders.

What are the D-8370 sizes?

D-8370-150 is 1500 x 800 x 610 mm (59 x 31.5 x 24.0 in) and D-8370-170 is 1700 x 800 x 610 mm (67 x 31.5 x 24.0 in).

What does the body shape look like?

The body bulges gently below the thin rim and curves back in at the foot. In plan it is an oval with rounded ends and straight sides, finished in matte white.

Where is the backrest?

D-8370 is double-ended with the drain and overflow on the center line, so either end can be used to recline.

What faucet does it use?

The rim has no tap holes, so D-8370 takes a floor-standing or wall-mounted faucet. Choose a filler or wall spout with enough reach to clear the rim.

What inside depth does D-8370 have, and how is the drain set out?

The drawing gives an inside depth of 470 mm at the center and 455 mm toward each end. The drain is on the center line, so the floor waste sits under the middle of the tub; fix its exact point from the approved drawing.
