SANIKB D-8399 is a wave profile freestanding tub on a rectangular plan: a thick rolled band at the top, a concave waist and a rounded band at the bottom that meets the floor. The shell is gloss white acrylic with rounded corners and a center drain, and it is double-ended, so either end serves as the backrest.

The sculpted shell comes as D-8399-150 in 1500 x 800 x 600 mm (59 x 31.5 x 23.6 in) or D-8399-170 in 1700 x 800 x 600 mm (67 x 31.5 x 23.6 in). Profile & Rim

Rolled top band over a concave waist

D-8399 is shaped in three bands when viewed from the side: a rolled rim, an inward-curving middle and a bulging base band. The end walls follow the same wave in the drawing.

01 / RIM

Rolled rim, double rim line

The drawing shows a double rim line around the rounded-rectangle plan. Along the length it is dimensioned 80 + 270 mm at each end, and across the width as 155 + 490 + 155 mm.

02 / BASE

Base band on the floor

The lower band swells out again and sits flat on the floor. Its length is drawn at 1200 mm for the 1500 mm tub and 1400 mm for the 1700 mm tub.

The inner length is drawn at 800 mm on the shorter tub and 1000 mm on the longer one, inside the end walls. The drain is centered, so the floor waste falls in the middle of the base.

Confirm the D-8399 waste position on the approved drawing for the size in the order.

Construction & Finish

Gloss white acrylic with a molded wave

D-8399 is made from pure acrylic sheet. The sculpted bands are formed in the shell itself, and the finish is gloss white.

Gloss picks out the rolled top, the concave waist and the base band as separate highlights. Review the sample under project lighting before sign-off.

The bottom band bulges out again below the concave waist, so check clearance to a wall or vanity at floor level as well as at the rim.

The approved D-8399 sample becomes the standard for finish and profile.

What are the D-8399 sizes?

D-8399-150 is the 1500 x 800 x 600 mm (59 x 31.5 x 23.6 in) size and D-8399-170 the 1700 x 800 x 600 mm (67 x 31.5 x 23.6 in) size, both with the same wave profile.

What does the D-8399 side profile look like?

It has three bands: a thick rolled top, a concave middle and a bulging lower band that sits on the floor. The end walls are wavy in the drawing as well.

How large is the D-8399 base?

The base is drawn at 1200 mm (47 in) long on the 1500 mm tub and 1400 mm (55 in) on the 1700 mm tub.

Which end of D-8399 is meant for reclining?

Either end. D-8399 is double-ended with a center drain, and inner depth is drawn at 470 mm (18.5 in) in the middle and 455 mm (17.9 in) at the ends.
