SANIKB D-8022 is a double-ended stadium freestanding bathtub with near-vertical walls, a thin rim and a flat base, made in white acrylic. It comes in two sizes that differ in both length and width: D-8022-150 at 1500 x 750 x 600 mm (59 x 29.5 x 23.6 in) and D-8022-170 at 1700 x 800 x 600 mm (67 x 31.5 x 23.6 in).

The drain is centered on both sizes. The rim has no tap holes, so the filler is floor-standing or wall-mounted. D-8022 is cUPC certified and sits in the freestanding bathtub collection.

    Straight-sided freestanding tub with almost vertical walls

    D-8022 has near-straight long sides and rounded ends. The drawing shows the long sides slightly convex in plan, and the walls rise almost vertically from a flat base.

    Near-vertical walls

    Because the walls barely lean, the outline at the floor is close to the outline at the rim, so the floor plan and the tub edge nearly coincide when setting out.

    Thin rim, matching ends

    A thin rim follows the stadium outline. Both ends are rounded to the same profile, which makes the tub double-ended with the drain at the center.

    1500 x 750 mm or 1700 x 800 mm

    D-8022 changes width as well as length between its sizes: the 1500 mm SKU is 750 mm (29.5 in) wide and the 1700 mm SKU is 800 mm (31.5 in) wide. Both are 600 mm (23.6 in) high.

    On the 1500 mm size the drain is 750 mm (29.5 in) from the end and 375 mm (14.8 in) from the side; on the 1700 mm size it is 850 mm (33.5 in) and 400 mm (15.7 in). Inner depths are drawn at 460 mm (18.1 in) and 470 mm (18.5 in).

    Check the width of the SKU ordered as well as the length; the two sizes do not share a footprint.

    D-8022 is made in white from pure acrylic sheet. The surface finish is agreed on the approval sample.

    With upright walls and a thin rim, D-8022 carries little molded detail, so surface quality is judged mainly on the long sides. Check them on the sample.

    Agree packing for the thin rim and the rounded ends, and set out how damage found on delivery is recorded and reported.

    Keep the approved sample on file for repeat orders of either size.

    Do the two D-8022 sizes share a width?

    D-8022-150 measures 1500 x 750 x 600 mm (59 x 29.5 x 23.6 in) and D-8022-170 measures 1700 x 800 x 600 mm (67 x 31.5 x 23.6 in). The shorter size is also 50 mm narrower.

    Where is the drain on D-8022?

    It is centered on both sizes: 750 mm from the end and 375 mm from the side on the 1500 mm tub, and 850 mm from the end and 400 mm from the side on the 1700 mm tub. The tub is double-ended.

    What faucet mounting does D-8022 use?

    The rim has no tap holes, so D-8022 takes a floor-standing filler beside the tub or a wall-mounted spout, with its position fixed on the approved drawing.
