SANIKB D-8318 is a classic double-ended freestanding bathtub in gloss white acrylic. A thick rolled lip overhangs the body at the top, and the tub stands on a stepped, molded plinth that is wider than the shell above it. A centered drain pairs with an overflow placed half-way along one long side. It is made in one size, SKU D-8318, at 1700 × 800 × 600 mm (67 × 31.5 × 23.6 in), with a 100 mm (3.9 in) plinth.

D-8318 follows a traditional outline. The top edge is a thick rolled lip that overhangs the body, and the base is a stepped plinth that projects past the shell.

Thick rolled lip

The lip rolls outward over the body and finishes the top with a rounded edge in place of a thin rim, and the roll runs round both ends.

02 / BASE

Stepped plinth, 100 mm high

The plinth is molded in steps, stands 100 mm (3.9 in) high and projects past the body above it.

The gloss picks out the curve of the rolled lip and the edges of the plinth steps. Match the white tone of lip, body and plinth on the approval sample.

The overhanging lip projects beyond the body and is exposed on every side in the carton. Ask for a padded frame around the lip, and check it for chips at delivery.
