SANIKB D-8008 is a large, egg-shaped oval freestanding bathtub in white acrylic, with bulging convex sides and a broad flat rim around the oval bowl. It is made in two sizes: D-8008-189 at 1890 x 930 x 550 mm (74 x 36.6 x 21.7 in) and D-8008-209 at 2090 x 1000 x 580 mm (82 x 39.4 x 22.8 in).

The drain is centered and a round overflow sits at the middle of one long wall, leaving both ends free. The broad rim has no tap holes, so a floor-standing or wall-mounted filler is used. D-8008 is cUPC certified and sits alongside the rest of the freestanding bathtub collection.

    The drain is at the center point: 945 mm (37 in) from the end and 465 mm (18.3 in) from the side on the 1890 mm size, and 1045 mm (41 in) and 500 mm (19.7 in) on the 2090 mm size. Inner depths are drawn at 410 and 420 mm (16.1 and 16.5 in) on the smaller size and 440 and 450 mm (17.3 and 17.7 in) on the larger.

    A shell of this size needs firm support at the bulge of the body. Agree the crate or carton construction and how damage is reported on arrival.
