Concave flared sides over a stepped plinth

D-8051 is raised on a stepped rectangular plinth, and its walls flare outward in a concave curve from the plinth to the rim. The plan is a square-cornered rectangle, symmetric at both ends.

01 / PLINTH

Stepped rectangular base

The tub body sits on a stepped plinth rather than directly on the floor or on feet. The step sets the shell back from the floor line and gives the tub a pedestal look.

02 / RIM

Flat rim of moderate width

The rim is flat and wider than a slim lip, forming a level edge around the whole basin. It has no tap holes; the faucet is a floor-standing or wall-mounted filler.

Two lengths with different widths

The two D-8051 sizes differ in width as well as length: 780 mm (30.7 in) on the 1500 mm tub and 800 mm (31.5 in) on the 1700 mm tub. Both are 600 mm (23.6 in) high, with an inner depth drawn at 460 to 470 mm (18.1 to 18.5 in).

Drain Position: Center: 750/850 mm from the end, 390/400 mm from the side
Base: Stepped rectangular plinth

The drain is centered on both axes, so on the 1500 mm size it falls 750 mm from the end and 390 mm from the side, and on the 1700 mm size 850 mm and 400 mm. Plan the floor finish around the plinth outline, not the rim, because the plinth is the part that meets the floor.

Take the plinth footprint from the approved drawing for the chosen length.

What are the D-8051 dimensions?

D-8051-150 is 1500 x 780 x 600 mm (59 x 30.7 x 23.6 in) and D-8051-170 is 1700 x 800 x 600 mm (67 x 31.5 x 23.6 in). The longer size is also 20 mm wider.

Does D-8051 have feet or a base?

It stands on a stepped rectangular plinth, not on feet. The flared sides of the tub rise from the plinth to a flat rim.

Is one end of D-8051 set aside as the head end?

D-8051 is double ended with a centered drain, so both ends are shaped for reclining and the tub can be turned either way in the room.
