Double-ended oval with a raised ledge for the faucet

Both ends of FT009/FT010 are shaped as backrests, so there is no fixed head end. The faucet is carried on a raised ledge along the back rather than on the slim rim.

Five-piece deck set on the ledge

FT009/FT010 takes a deck-mounted faucet and is shown with a spout, three handles and a hand shower set into the raised ledge. The hole pattern is confirmed on the approved drawing, and whether the set is supplied is agreed at quotation.

02 / RIM

Slim rim, gloss white surface

Away from the ledge, a slim rim runs around the oval. The surface is gloss, on a white pure acrylic body.

If the plumbing route favors a floor-standing filler instead, compare other models in the freestanding bathtub range.

FT009/FT010 is made in a 59 in and a 67 in length. The 1500 mm size is 700 mm wide and 600 mm high; the 1700 mm size is 800 mm wide and 590 mm high.

Faucet Mount: Deck mounted on a raised back ledge

At 700 mm (27.6 in) across, the shorter size is also the narrower one, which helps where a vanity or a door opening limits room width. Because the faucet sits on the ledge, the supply pipes come up under the back of the tub, so fix the tub position and the pipe route together.

Check the ledge side and tap-hole positions on the approved drawing for each size before rough-in.

Construction & Finish

Gloss white on pure acrylic sheet

FT009/FT010 is formed from pure acrylic sheet and finished in gloss white, from the slim rim to the raised faucet ledge.

One finish for both lengths

Gloss white is the finish for both FT009/FT010 sizes, so rooms of different sizes in one project stay visually matched when the 59 in and 67 in tubs are ordered together.

The raised ledge stands above the rim line, which leaves it exposed in a carton. Agree how the ledge and its tap holes are protected when the packing is specified.

Check the ledge and rim for damage when the cartons arrive, before the tubs go to site.

Which lengths is FT009/FT010 made in?

There are two: FT009 at 1500 x 700 x 600 mm (59 x 27.6 x 23.6 in) and FT010 at 1700 x 800 x 590 mm (67 x 31.5 x 23.2 in). The 59 in size is 100 mm narrower and 10 mm taller than the 67 in size.
