Cylindrical Column
A cylindrical column basin in glossy white china
Model 1002 is a freestanding pedestal basin in vitreous china. The column is cylindrical rather than tapered, which reads cleaner in a small room.
One continuous vertical line
A straight column has no shoulder or step in its outline. It is the usual choice where the basin stands away from a wall and is seen from all sides.
Two codes are listed
The record lists SANIKB-1002A and SANIKB-1002B without saying what separates them. Confirm which configuration each covers before ordering.
Column basins remain the simplest way to finish a small bathroom, and the rest sit in the ceramic pedestal sink collection.
Fit & Clearance
No dimensions published, so start from the drawing
This page records mounting, type, material and finish. It does not publish any dimensions.
Without published sizes, nothing should be planned from this page. Request the dimensioned drawing for each SKU before quoting a room.
Faucet hole arrangement is also unpublished. Ask whether the basin is drilled, and for how many holes, before matching a tap.
Get the drawing before promising a rim height to a customer.
Construction & Finish
Vitreous china named as the body material
Two entries make up this whole section. Vitreous china is the body, glossy white is the surface, and there is no third line.
Body and finish, nothing else
Thickness, weight and tolerance are all absent from the record. Request them in writing if your submittal has fields for them.
Write your own listing from what the record actually says. Ceramic claims are easy to overstate and hard to defend when a customer questions them.
Ask which material details the factory will confirm in writing before you publish.
Compliance
Sanitaryware documents differ by destination
Requirements are easiest to satisfy on a first order. Raise the document question with the initial enquiry rather than at reorder.
No approval scheme is named in this specification. Nothing here should be presented as an approval to a customer or an inspector.
Sanitaryware requirements vary widely by country. Name the destination at RFQ so the right documents are scoped before production.
Procurement
A twenty piece minimum and what it is good for
Two SKU codes sit under one model number here. The quantity has to be split between them before anything can be quoted.
Twenty pieces is low enough to trial a model before committing a showroom to it. Buyers often use that first run to test the finish against their own market.
Own brand versions, alternative finishes and packaging design run through the SANIKB OEM and ODM program.
Include these details with the RFQ
- Quantity per SKU code
- Difference between 1002A and 1002B
- Dimensioned drawing per code
- Faucet hole arrangement
- Destination port and Incoterm
- Packing and pallet arrangement
- Delivery window required
Confirm the minimum and the schedule on the quotation before planning a launch.
How we work
From enquiry to shipment
A factory-direct process built for importers, distributors and project buyers. No trading layer in between.
-
01
Send the enquiry
Tell us the model, quantity, destination market and any branding or packaging requirement. A spec sheet or drawing helps but is not required to start.
-
02
Our sales team contacts you
A named account manager follows up by email or WhatsApp, confirms the specification and clarifies anything missing before pricing.
-
03
Quotation
You receive a written quotation with unit price, MOQ, packing details, lead time and the trade term you asked for. Entry, mid and premium build levels can be quoted side by side.
-
04
Sample approval
We send a sample for finish, function and packaging sign-off. Branded samples are produced once artwork is confirmed.
-
05
Production and shipment
Mass production starts after sample approval and deposit. QC and inspection run before loading, then the order ships to the agreed port.
OEM and ODM to your specification
We develop to a brief. Send a reference model, a drawing or simply the price band and market you are targeting, and we will propose what fits. Entry, mid and premium builds are all available from the same factory.
- Your logo on product, carton and documentation
- Private-label packaging and manuals
- Custom finish matched to your standard
- Custom dimensions and tooling where volume supports it
- Product development from your reference or price target
- Destination-market documentation prepared on request
The 1002 Series is a freestanding glazed ceramic pedestal basin consisting of a round basin bowl and a floor-standing column that conceals the plumbing. It is offered as a series with two models, 1002A and 1002B, sharing the same design language in slightly different proportions so specifiers can match basin and pedestal to the space. Exact dimensions per model are provided on request, giving project buyers a repeatable footprint to plan against across rooms and units.
- Model: 1002 Series (1002A and 1002B)
- Size: Exact dimensions per model provided on request
- Shape: Round bowl
- Installation: Freestanding floor-standing pedestal
- Material: Glazed ceramic
- Finish: Glazed white
Both models are produced in glazed ceramic with a glazed white finish. The fired glaze gives a smooth, non-porous surface that is straightforward to clean and wear-resistant in everyday use, making it suited to repeat specification in residential and commercial bathrooms. As a factory-direct product the body and glaze are consistent batch to batch, which helps importers and contract buyers hold a uniform standard across larger orders.
The basin sits on its matching floor-standing pedestal, which conceals the trap and supply lines for a clean finished look while the bowl is secured to the wall. The basin accepts a standard wall- or deck-mounted faucet and a standard pop-up or push-button drain, which are quoted separately so buyers can match brassware to their own program. Rough-in details for each model are confirmed at the RFQ stage to suit local plumbing standards.
Pedestal basins suit powder rooms, guest bathrooms, hospitality, multi-unit residential and other projects where a slim freestanding fixture and concealed plumbing are preferred. Typical buyers are distributors, importers, project and contract purchasers, and OEM/ODM or private-label brands building a bathroom range. For related models see our
full ceramic pedestal sink range, which lets trade buyers compare formats and standardize on a consistent supplier.

MOQ, lead time, pricing and samples are confirmed and quoted at the RFQ stage; send your model, quantity and destination to receive a quotation.
