As an undermount lavatory sink, the basin mounts from below the countertop, typically with a clip or bracket system and sealant, and the rim supports against the underside of the deck. The countertop cutout is taken from the bowl opening rather than the outside diameter, and the fabricator sets the reveal (positive, flush, or negative) according to the project. SANIKB provides the dimensional drawing on request so fabricators can template the cutout accurately.
The basin has no faucet holes. The faucet, whether single-hole or widespread, is drilled into the countertop or deck rather than the basin, which gives the specifier control over faucet placement and spread.
This basin is supplied without an overflow. It should be paired with a non-overflow drain, also called a free-flow drain, rather than a standard pop-up drain with an overflow channel. Matching the drain to a no-overflow basin avoids trapped water and leakage at the fitting. Drain fittings should be confirmed against the 45 mm (1.8 in) opening before they are ordered.
