A 500 by 420 mm drop-in basin for an existing counter
The RSBG500 is a drop-in basin. The rim sits on the countertop and the body drops through a cut opening.
Rim rests on the counter
A drop-in sits on the counter through its rim. That is a different support arrangement from an undermount basin, which has to be carried from below.
500 by 420 millimetres
A compact rectangular footprint that suits replacement work as well as new cabinet programs.
Drop-in is the practical choice when the countertop is already in place. Vanity-top and vessel formats are listed in the solid surface basin range.
Fit & Clearance
Cutout size decides whether a drop-in works
The opening in the counter has to match the drawing, not the outside dimension of the basin.

Ask for the cutout template with the quotation and pass it to the fabricator. On a replacement job also check that the existing opening is not larger than the new rim will cover.

On a drop-in the rim stays in view, so its edge profile and finish are part of the installed appearance rather than hidden under stone.
That makes the rim the first thing to inspect on a production sample. Check the finish continuity around the whole perimeter, not just at the front.

Document scope is confirmed in writing once the market and application are named.
RSBG500 is cUPC listed. The published specification also holds material, type, mount, finish, size and MOQ. Before it goes into a submittal, request the current listing number and certificate validity so the documentation matches your destination market.
Replacement and retrofit work sometimes falls under different local rules from new build. Tell us the market and the application in the RFQ.
