Round Vessel Body
A 420 mm round vessel that sits on top of the counter
SN045 is a round above-counter basin in vitreous china, 16.5 inches across and 7.9 inches tall.
One continuous round rim
The rim is a single circle with no corners to line up. Placement stays forgiving when the tap sits slightly off centre.
Full body above the deck
Nothing is recessed into the counter. The vanity keeps its full slab face, and the basin reads as an object placed on it.
A round body suits narrow vanities where a long basin crowds the edge. Other shapes sit in the ceramic vessel sink range.
Fit & Clearance
Rim height lands 200 mm above the finished counter
Because the basin stands on the deck, finished rim height is counter height plus body height.
Vanity tops for vessel basins usually sit lower than a drop-in vanity. Add the 7.9 inch body to carcass height before the counter is fixed.
The counter is cut for the drain, plus a tap hole if the tap is deck mounted. Confirm the drilling layout with us so the joiner and the basin work to one centre line.
Check spout reach and height against the 7.9 inch rim before the tap is specified.
Construction & Finish
Glazed vitreous china on a body seen from all sides
Vitreous china ceramic is the body and glossy white is the finish. The specification carries no second option for either.
Fired body, glazed visible faces
The outside wall of an above-counter basin stays in view from every angle. Glaze coverage on the flank matters as much as the bowl.
An above-counter body has no hidden side. The outer wall and the rim edge are finished faces on this model, so review a sample rather than a catalogue photo before a large release.
Ask how the base of the basin is finished where it meets the counter.
Compliance
What SN045 can be documented against
A basin cleared for one market is not automatically cleared for the next. Put the market in the RFQ and keep the reply with the order file.
The SN045 specification does not name a certification mark. Treat a mark held by another basin in the range as separate until confirmed for this model.
Send the market, the project type and the authority reviewing the submittal. The answer comes back per model, so the sales file and the factory file agree.
