Double-Ended Drop-In Bathtub with Bowed Ends, 59 & 67 in
SANIKB D-8017Q is a double-ended acrylic drop-in bathtub with straight long sides and short ends that bow outward. The flat flange runs slim along the sides and widens at both ends. It is made as D-8017Q-150 at 1500 x 750 x 490 mm (59 x 29.5 x 19.3 in) and D-8017Q-170 at 1700 x 800 x 490 mm (67 x 31.5 x 19.3 in).
The shell is glossy white and cUPC certified. The flange has no tap holes: the faucet mounts on the surrounding deck or on the wall, so neither curved end is given over to fittings. More shells are in the drop-in bathtubs collection.

Shape & Backrest
Bowed ends with a backrest at each end
D-8017Q is rectangular in plan, but its short ends curve outward instead of meeting the long sides at square corners. Both ends are shaped as backrests.
Recline at either end
With a backrest at both ends, D-8017Q does not fix a bather end. The faucet can follow the supply position on the surrounding deck or wall instead of deciding which way the bather faces.
Flange widens at the curved ends
The flat flange runs slim along the long sides and broadens where the ends bow out. It has no tap holes, so the whole border stays clear.

Because the ends bow outward, the platform opening for D-8017Q may not be a plain rectangle. Take its outline from the approved drawing instead of cutting to the overall length and width.
Mark the wider end flanges on the platform setting-out so any deck faucet holes clear them.

The D-8017Q shell is made from pure acrylic sheet and finished in glossy white.

D-8017Q-150 and D-8017Q-170 share the glossy white finish, so shorter and longer bathrooms in one project can take matching tubs.
Protect the glossy D-8017Q surface while the surrounding platform is tiled, and check it again at handover.
