Rack Or Separate Shelf
A chrome bathroom towel shelf rack with a rail underneath
The 817 group publishes both this rack and a separate glass shelf. 817003 carries a rail below the surface, and the choice is a maintenance decision as much as a design one.
One plate to clean around, not two
A rail under the surface leaves housekeeping one plate to wipe instead of two. The trade is depth, and a loaded trolley is what finds it.
817004 is the shelf on its own
Where a room wants the surface without the rail, the group lists a separate glass shelf.

Fit & Clearance
Door swing and mirror clearance for 817003
Mounting and format are recorded. Depth and rail length come off the drawing.
Take the projection from the sheet and check it against the door swing, the screen and any mirror return.
Fixing centres belong on the setting out drawing before the wall is tiled.

Chrome, Polished Chrome, Brushed Nickel, Polished Gold, Brushed Gold, Gun Grey and Antique Bronze.
On a refurbishment, name the finish already installed in the RFQ. We quote a sample against the recorded name for approval on site before production is released. Finish is chosen at order stage, not at range stage, and one order can carry more than one name.
Where two finishes run in one building, split them line by line on the order.

A spec sheet covers 817003. On a refurbishment, ask for the 817004 sheet too so both options compare on paper.
No approval mark is recorded against this rack. Name the destination market and the reviewing body and what can be issued comes back in writing.

817004 is the glass shelf. The rest is 817001 towel bar, 817006 toilet brush holder, 817007 toilet paper holder, 817008 robe hook, 817009 towel ring, 817010 soap dish holder and 817011 tumbler holder, quoted on one PO and one container.

We send a sample for finish, function and packaging sign-off. Branded samples are produced once artwork is confirmed.

Production and shipment
Mass production starts after sample approval and deposit. QC and inspection run before loading, then the order ships to the agreed port.
