Concealed Tub & Shower

A square trim set over a concealed in-wall valve

F348408 is a concealed tub and shower set in brushed nickel. The valve sits inside the wall and only the square trim plate, lever, tub spout and shower head stay visible.

01 / FORM

Square geometry across three parts

An 8 inch square head, a 5.5 inch square trim plate and a matching tub spout share one language. Nothing on the wall breaks the line.

02 / CONTROL

One lever for tub and shower

A single-lever trim keeps the wall clean and the operation obvious for hotel guests. Diverter detail is confirmed on the factory drawing.

Concealed sets suit tiled bathrooms where wall clutter is unwanted. See the wider concealed shower faucet range.

Fit & Clearance

Getting the in-wall valve set before tiling

A concealed set is decided at rough-in stage, not at fit-out.

Shower head 8" x 8" (200 x 200 mm)
Trim plate 5.5" x 5.5" (140 x 140 mm)
Tub spout 5.25" projection (133 mm)
Mount Wall-mounted, concealed valve

The trim plate covers a 140 mm square of wall, so tile layout and grout lines should be set around it. The tub spout stands 133 mm off the finished wall.

Valve body depth, pipe centres and the finished wall tolerance are not published here. Get the rough-in drawing before the wall is closed, because a mistake there means breaking tile.

Order the valve and trim together so plumber and tiler work to one drawing.

Construction & Finish

Solid brass valve body behind the wall

A solid brass body is what the specification names for this set.

Solid brass

Buried parts are the ones to check

The valve body is the part nobody can reach after tiling. The specification lists solid brass for this set, which is the question buyers should ask first.

Brushed nickel is the only published finish. It holds up well in high-traffic bathrooms because light scratching blends into the brushed grain instead of standing out as it would on a polished face.

Match hooks and rails in the same brushed nickel if the bathroom package is bought together.

Compliance

In-wall valves need documentation agreed early

DOC
Settle valve paperwork at RFQ

Tell us the market and the standard your contractor is held to. We answer in writing on what can be supplied for this set.

Behind a tiled wall a buyer wants to know what has actually been verified. For this set the published data is material, type, mount, finish, sizes and MOQ. There is no certification mark in it.

Concealed valves attract more scrutiny than exposed taps, because replacing one means opening a wall. State the destination market and the inspection regime in your RFQ.

Procurement

Ordering F348408 sets for hotel bathrooms

Published MOQ is 100 pieces. Ask us to confirm how a complete set is counted against that figure.

Published MOQ 100 pcs
Standard Lead Time 30-45 days (typical)

Hotel and apartment projects often need valves on site months before trim. Say whether valve bodies and trim can ship in two waves and we will price it that way.

Installation sheets written for the plumber who buries the valve are prepared under the SANIKB OEM and ODM program.

Include these details with the RFQ

  • Destination market and inspection regime
  • Number of complete sets required
  • Split shipment of valve and trim
  • Finished wall thickness on site
  • Installation sheet language
  • Named destination port and incoterm

A split shipment changes the schedule. Confirm both dates on the quotation.

FAQs

How does the single lever divert water between the tub spout and shower?

One lever sets temperature and volume while the integrated diverter switches the flow path from the tub filler up to the showerhead. The diverter returns to the tub outlet automatically when the water is shut off.

Is the mixing valve concealed in the wall?

Yes, the valve body is concealed behind the tile and only the square trim, lever, and tub spout remain exposed at the finished wall. This gives a clean flush appearance with no surface-mounted valve.

Can the cartridge be serviced after the wall is tiled?

Yes, the cartridge and diverter are reached from the wall face after removing the trim plate, so service does not require breaking into the wall. Replacement parts are stocked separately for long-term maintenance.
