Round-plate kits in the same brushed nickel finish exist in our range. The choice between them comes down to the tile layout: a square plate sits naturally on rectangular tile, while a round plate suits a different wall pattern.

F348408 keeps three visible parts square: an 8" head, a 5.5" trim plate and a tub spout that projects 5.25". Head, plate and spout share one outline, so the wall reads as a single set.

Chrome or matte black rain-head systems are separate models with a different head and arm. If your specification calls for that, tell us and we will point you to the right model in the concealed shower faucets range.

For multifamily and hotel programs the same set repeats in every bathroom, which keeps rough-in dimensions and spare parts identical across units. Concealed installation also leaves the wall clean for tiling.

The 140 mm plate covers a square of wall, so mark its center on the tile layout before the wall closes. The 133 mm spout projection sets how close the tub rim can sit to the wall. Settle both on the drawing, not on site.

F348408 is cUPC certified. A concealed shower valve that sits inside a wall gets more scrutiny from inspectors than an exposed tap, because replacing it means opening the wall.

Valve and trim are checked together, so name the finished wall thickness on your drawing when you send the request. A buried valve cannot be changed once the wall is closed.
