What rough-in depth does the concealed valve require behind the tile?

The in-wall valve body is plastered into the wall cavity at a fixed depth so the finished trim sits flush against the tile face; set the valve to the depth marked on the rough-in body before closing the wall. Mounting at the correct depth ensures the square trim plate seats flat without gaps.

Does the rain head provide pressure-balanced anti-scald protection?

Yes, the concealed cartridge is pressure-balanced so the overhead rainfall holds a steady temperature when another outlet draws water in the building. This protects against sudden hot or cold surges in shared-plumbing properties.

Can the trim be serviced without opening the wall again?

Yes, the cartridge and trim are accessible from the wall face once the trim plate is removed, so routine service does not require tile demolition. Replacement cartridges are stocked separately.
