A 30 inch stainless steel sink for volume projects

Multifamily developers, hotel refit teams and retail kitchen chains often ask for a 30 inch stainless steel sink that drops into a standard base cabinet. SR3018 is a single bowl undermount kitchen sink at that size, with rounded interior corners. As an undermount sink it is installed beneath the countertop.

It measures 30 inches wide and 18 inches front to back. SR3218 is a wider model in the same family; SR3018 is the pick when the kitchen layout leaves a shorter cabinet run than that.

Rounded corners are a deliberate choice against the square-cornered undermount sinks in our range. They sweep water toward the drain and wipe clean quickly, a softer profile than zero radius bowls.

Rounded corners change the stone template as well as the look. Show them on the drawing sent to the fabricator.

Cabinet opening

Installation type is undermount, and unlike a drop in sink it relies on the cabinet and stone. A nominal 30 inch cabinet is not proof of fit. Measure the clear opening, rails and supports.

Waste and trap

Confirm faucet reach, waste assembly and trap clearance before approving cabinets and countertops.

Planning an SR3018 undermount sink into a cabinet run

A 30 inch single bowl suits a base cabinet where a double bowl sink would crowd the faucet and leave each bowl too narrow. One basin keeps the full 762 mm width usable.

At 10 inches overall depth, check the space beneath the bowl for the trap and any waste disposer. The finish is brushed stainless, so match it to the faucet and appliances in the kitchen.

Stone fabricators need the undermount sink drawing before they cut the countertop. Agree the reveal, the corner radius and the kitchen layout around the sink in one drawing approval, then release the order.

It is a 30 inch stainless steel sink in outside dimensions: 30" × 18" × 10" (762 × 457 × 254 mm). These are overall figures, not a confirmed cutout. Check the cabinet clear opening, rails and supports against our model drawing before ordering stone.

What corner style does this single bowl undermount sink have?

SR3018 has generous rounded interior corners on its single bowl, a softer profile than zero radius bowls, and suits daily use in a kitchen sink position. They guide water to the drain and wipe clean easily. Put the corner radius on the drawing you send to the fabricator, because it changes the countertop template.

What steel is SR3018 made from?

SUS304 stainless steel at 18 gauge (1.2 mm), handmade, with a brushed stainless finish. For a project specification, ask us to restate grade and gauge on the proforma invoice so it travels with the order, and compare it with the 1.2 mm in the spec block before you approve the purchase order.
