Undermount bar sink in a square, small stainless bowl

Square is the key to SR1717: a 17 × 17 inch footprint, 9 inches deep, formed from SUS304 stainless steel. It is a small stainless steel sink in the single bowl format for bar, prep and island counters, and one of our Most Popular models.

Handmade from SUS304 stainless steel. Sound-dampening pads with undercoating keep a small basin quiet at island and bar stations.

Centred drain

The drain sits centrally, so compact bottom grids and strainers can be matched to a square floor.

Consistent corners

Corners are drawn consistently on the square form, which keeps a row of identical units looking even.

Brushed floor

Brushed stainless hides wear on the compact floor, where cups, ice scoops and prep tools make contact.

One bowl, two jobs

The same square bowl serves bar sinks and prep sinks, so a project can fit one model across lounge, minibar and prep stations.

TIGHT CABINETS

Planning SR1717 into a short base cabinet

A square footprint suits cabinets too short for rectangular bar sinks. Measure the cabinet clear opening first, then match it to the drawing and not the overall size.

Clips and a cutout template are supplied for fabrication in tight cabinetry. Use the template for the stone opening, because the 17 inch outline is the body of the sink and not the hole in the counter.

Check where the faucet sits relative to the centred drain. In a bowl this small, the spout should land over the drain, so decide faucet and hole positions together.

Is SR1717 the small stainless steel sink to choose for a bar counter?

It works among bar sinks and prep sinks for island counters where a rectangular sink will not fit. The bowl is square, 17" × 17" with a 9" depth (432 × 432 × 228 mm), in SUS304 stainless steel at 18 gauge (1.2 mm). Confirm the cabinet clear opening on the drawing first, then send quantity.

Which undermount bar sink details should a distributor confirm before ordering SR1717?

Confirm the model code, the undermount cutout from the template, and the accessory scope for grids and strainers. Check that faucet position matches the centred drain. State quantity per code on the RFQ, and tell us if cartons need your logo or private-label marking, so the quotation covers packing as well as the sink. As with all undermount sinks, agree the reveal with the stone fabricator.

Can the bowl be customised for an OEM order?

Yes. As the manufacturer we offer custom sizes, corner radius, drain location and finish, with a low minimum order for project, builder and distributor accounts. Send a drawing or a target size, and we quote against it with the lead time. Changes to the drain location or the corner radius are agreed on the drawing before production starts.

What gauge and finish does SR1717 use?

SR1717 is fabricated from 18 gauge stainless steel, SUS304 (1.2 mm), with a brushed finish. Sound-dampening pads and undercoating are part of the build.
