This is a deep ceramic vessel sink with faucet hole already pre-drilled on the rear deck, so it accepts a single-hole vessel faucet without any separate drilling. The 35 mm (1.4") opening fits standard single-hole vessel faucets, which means installers do not need to bore the countertop for the faucet itself. Because the basin sits above the counter, the finished height combines the 200 mm (7.9") vessel height with the height of the faucet, which makes a taller vessel-style faucet the appropriate pairing.
With an overall height of 200 mm (7.9"), this is a deep above-counter vessel rather than a shallow basin.
