S1920 undermount bar sink: a near-square prep bowl

Square bar sinks give a buyer width and nothing else. S1920 is a stainless steel single bowl bar sink that runs 20 inches front to back, one inch more than it measures across, and drops 10 inches into the cabinet. Among bar sinks, it is the one built for prep.

PREP LAYOUT

Why the extra inch of front-to-back matters

A 20 inch run front to back lets a sheet pan sit lengthwise in the bowl instead of across it. That small difference decides whether a bar prep station can hold real kitchen cookware or only glasses.

Ten inches of depth keeps splash and trimmings inside the bowl during fast prep. Our factory fixes dampening pads and an undercoat to the underside, which quiets the cavity when a disposal or running tap is in use.

Corners are tight-radius, so the bowl reads as a clean rectangle under a stone top, and the brushed stainless face wipes down quickly between services.

Because the body is deeper than it is wide, the cabinet carries the load. Measure the interior depth of the base cabinet, and check any drawer bank behind the bowl, before S1920 is written into a schedule.

CUTOUT NOTES

Setting an undermount bar sink into stone

Send the S1920 drawing and the cabinet drawing to the stone fabricator together. The overall size describes the sink body, and the opening in the countertop is cut from your template.

Agree the reveal and the support method before the top is cut, because both change how the rim sits against the underside of the stone. Mark the faucet position on the same plan, and ask for the drain centre to be dimensioned on the drawing so the waste run is fixed before the joinery.

It works as both. The 19 × 20 inch footprint puts it in our bar and prep sinks group, while the 10 inch depth gives it the capacity of a small kitchen bowl. Buyers use it for islands, beverage stations and back-of-house prep points beside a main sink.
