Offset Tap Hole Vessel

The basin for a counter that is already stone

A solid surface countertop with integrated sink locks the bowl into the slab, which is no help once a cloakroom counter is installed. RSZ sits on top of it, a compact above counter basin with the tap hole off the centre line, under three codes.

01 / TAP HOLE

The tap sits off the centre line

In a powder room the tap often cannot sit behind the middle of the bowl, because a mirror or return wall is in the way. The offset hole is on the basin, so the stone is not drilled again.

02 / CODES

RSZ400, RSZ460 and RSZ857

Each code takes its own counter cut, so a cloakroom, a guest room and a lobby washroom are three drawings, not one.

An inspector checks the carton code against the paperwork, so name each code rather than the family.

RSZ400 is cUPC listed. Drawings and material confirmation must cover all three codes or something is missing at inspection.

Where the destination market requires documentation, name it at RFQ and have it issued per code, together with the current listing number and certificate validity.

What material is this compact basin made from and what finish does it have?

It is cast from non-porous solid surface (resin-stone composite) with a seamless matte white finish that resists stains and is easy to wipe clean. The dense, repairable surface suits high-traffic hotel and project bathrooms.

Can this small rectangular basin be wall-hung or sit on a counter, and where is the tap hole?

The thick-walled block design works as an above-counter vessel or a wall-mounted basin. A single pre-drilled tap hole is offset to the back corner, freeing bowl space so the slim rectangular shape fits tight cloakrooms and powder rooms. See more in our solid surface basin range.
