GL48 Diamond Rectangle
Diamond-cut facets scaled onto a 505 mm rectangle
GL48 carries the faceted treatment on the larger of the two rectangular bodies in this group. The plan size is 505 by 370 mm.
Facets read larger on a big body
The same cut pattern covers more surface here than on a compact round. It becomes the feature of the room rather than a detail on the counter.
A plain GL48 line exists
GL48, GL48-A, GL48-IR, GL48-J and GL48-L1 are published. The unsuffixed code is a real line, so an order that omits the suffix is ambiguous rather than invalid.
Facet pattern and body size are separate choices on a shortlist. Both are visible across the glass vessel basin collection.
Fit & Clearance
Counter depth needed behind a 370 mm body
Depth behind the bowl is the constraint here. The body runs 370 mm front to back on a 505 mm length.
370 mm of depth leaves little behind the bowl on a standard 450 mm top. Either the top gets deeper or the tap moves to the wall, and that decision belongs in the drawing set.
A rectangular body wants its edges square to the counter. Set out the position from two datum lines rather than centring by eye on site.
Issue the setting out dimensions with the counter order.
Construction & Finish
Weight and thickness on the larger rectangle
The body is larger than its rectangular sibling. The material line is the same short entry.
Two figures to request early
The material line reads tempered art glass and stops. Unit weight and wall thickness are not stated for a body this size.
On a body this size both numbers affect handling on site and the cost of getting it there. Ask for weight, packed cube and thickness with the quotation and hold them on your product record.
Pass the unit weight to whoever handles the goods at delivery.
Compliance
Transit and handling paperwork on a large glass item
Write the packing method and the claim procedure into the order. Both are easier to settle before goods travel.
No certification or listing appears in the GL48 specification, so no approval should be stated in your own catalogue entry.
Large glass items usually raise packing and handling questions rather than compliance ones. Agree the packing standard and the damage reporting route in writing before the first shipment leaves.
Procurement
Consolidating GL48 into a mixed container
The record lists 100 pieces as the minimum.
A hundred pieces of a 505 by 370 body takes real cube, so buyers usually place this model as part of a mixed glass booking rather than on its own container.
List every model going into the same shipment at enquiry. Carton design and own-brand printing across a mixed load are handled through the SANIKB OEM and ODM program.
Include these details with the RFQ
- Quantity per GL48 code including the plain line
- Other models in the same container
- Unit weight, thickness and packed cube
- Packing standard and damage reporting route
- Destination port and Incoterm
- Requested loading window
Send the full model list before pricing so the load can be planned once.
How we work
From enquiry to shipment
A factory-direct process built for importers, distributors and project buyers. No trading layer in between.
-
01
Send the enquiry
Tell us the model, quantity, destination market and any branding or packaging requirement. A spec sheet or drawing helps but is not required to start.
-
02
Our sales team contacts you
A named account manager follows up by email or WhatsApp, confirms the specification and clarifies anything missing before pricing.
-
03
Quotation
You receive a written quotation with unit price, MOQ, packing details, lead time and the trade term you asked for. Entry, mid and premium build levels can be quoted side by side.
-
04
Sample approval
We send a sample for finish, function and packaging sign-off. Branded samples are produced once artwork is confirmed.
-
05
Production and shipment
Mass production starts after sample approval and deposit. QC and inspection run before loading, then the order ships to the agreed port.
OEM and ODM to your specification
We develop to a brief. Send a reference model, a drawing or simply the price band and market you are targeting, and we will propose what fits. Entry, mid and premium builds are all available from the same factory.
