The side the small bay sits on decides the layout
Stainless steel double bowl sinks go wrong on site for one reason. The small bay ends up on the wrong side. D3319B is the 60/40 version of the 33 by 19 by 10 inch body.
State the side on the order
Handing is not settled from a catalogue photograph. Put the required side on the RFQ and check the drawing before stone is cut.
The cabinet decides the side
A dishwasher or a disposer already fitted on one side of the base unit fixes where the small bay goes, before the sink is even chosen.
Fix the sides before an order is split across the stainless steel kitchen sink range.
Fit & Clearance
Two unequal wastes inside one base unit
Published figures are 33 by 19 by 10 inches, 838 by 483 by 254 mm.
Uneven bays put the drains at uneven spacing. The plumber needs the drawing before roughing in.
The outside envelope matches the equal split, so the cabinet check does not change.
Handing has to be repeated on the order, not just agreed in the enquiry.
Construction & Finish
Steel grade does not move with the split
SUS304 stainless steel, 18 gauge, 1.2 mm, brushed stainless.
Same specification, different plan
Grade, gauge and finish are published identically for the equal split and the offset. One material line, two codes.
Put the finish name and the handing on the same PO line.
Compliance
Handing belongs in the paperwork too
On an offset sink the drawing fixes bowl sides, drain centres and the cut out. Inspection is measured against it.
No approval scheme is recorded here, so handing is what the paperwork protects. A correct sink fitted the wrong way round is still rejected.
Name the destination market at RFQ and the required side with it. Both end up on the same document.
Procurement
Quoting the offset next to the equal split
The 33 inch group is three codes deep, a sensible first programme.
D3319 is the 50/50 version and D3320 runs 20 inches front to back. Stock the offset in the side your local cabinet layouts actually use.
Artwork is approved once and the code panel changes per line through the private label and OEM programme. Ask for the spec sheet and the drawing with the RFQ. Quotations come back within 12 hours.
