Thirty-three inches across, 19 inches front to back and 10 inches deep: that is the envelope D3319 asks of a base cabinet. When a spec calls for a large stainless steel kitchen sink, this 33 inch double bowl is built for family kitchens, staff kitchens and apartment projects.

Width is split evenly. Two equal bays share the 33" span, so a tray can lie in one for meal prep while the other stays free for rinsing, with ample space for two people at the sink.

Counter material matters less than the opening. On quartz, solid surface or granite the undermount sink sits below the stone, so the fabricator sets the cutout edge and the reveal. Agree that reveal in writing and keep it the same across every unit.

Project schedules often repeat the same kitchen dozens of times. A single fixed envelope keeps cabinet drawings and countertop templates identical from unit to unit.

Check the clear interior width of the base unit, not the nominal cabinet size. Doors, hinges and carcass sides take width away from the 33" opening.

Two drain openings land near the middle of the cabinet. Ask for the drawing with both drain centers, then give the plumber the waste arrangement before the cabinet shop drills any carcass sides.

Bowl depth is 10" on both bays, so check drain assembly and garbage disposal clearance inside the base unit before you approve the order.
