A round chrome ring that lets the towel hang open
A towel pushed onto a hook hangs folded. The open ring on 886009 keeps both faces of a hand towel exposed to the room.

Fit & Clearance
Clearance below the ring, not just around it
Wall mounting is stated. The dimension that catches people out is the towel drop below the ring.
Set the ring high enough for the towel to clear the vanity and low enough to reach from the basin, then issue that height as a standard. Ring diameter and projection sit on the 886009 spec sheet.
On a tiled face, agree the fixing method with the contractor.
