A tornado flush toilet is defined here by one printed feature: a flush described as super-swirling, tornado or swirl in the factory catalog. That single focus brings together 53 toilets with very different design options, from compact wall hung bowls to full smart toilets. Lengths range from 480 to 730 mm. Because the flush pattern is shared but the installation details are not, compare outlets and drawings before creating a single project or household range from several designs.
The tornado flush system is one of several flushing system types found in sanitaryware catalogs. Across this collection, the swirl label sits alongside other printed tags: siphonic on 9 toilets, washdown on 3 and rimless on 3. A siphonic system describes how the bowl empties, a washdown system a direct flush of water from the rim, and a rimless system a toilet bowl without the usual rim channel, so one toilet can carry more than one. Choose by the combination printed for each design, since the tags describe the flushing system rather than test results.
Swirl flush toilets are available for both drain layouts. A P-trap outlet is listed on 39, which covers wall hung bodies and floor-standing toilets that drain into the wall. An S-trap outlet appears on 26 for floor drains, most often at a 10 in rough-in, found on 22. Some bodies list both outlets, so specify the one required on each order line to receive the correct version of the toilet for the site.
White is listed on 50 of the 53 toilets. Black and gray each appear on 4, marble on 2, and beige, pink, gold and silver on 1 each. That leaves a clear white core with a small set of accent options, a practical balance for distributors who stock one style in volume and add color to order. Each color is tied to a specific body, so rely on the product specification to confirm which shade, outlet and flush combination a toilet is supplied with.
