Side-Cutaway Semi-Recessed Basin with Rear Deck, 420/500mm
The recessed side section defines the side-cutaway semi recessed basin with stepped lower profile. D492B and D493B leave part of the lower side set back beneath the bowl, while the front apron continues downward. Their sections show an asymmetric lower step around the curved bowl. Above it, a full rear platform still carries the centred tap position. A round rear overflow and central drain complete the bowl layout. D492B measures 420 × 460 × 170 mm; D493B measures 500 × 460 × 170 mm overall. Both white ceramic models retain the same cutaway design. Select the width together with this distinctive lower profile and the corresponding original model.

Lower side set back
Asymmetric step beside the descending front apron
The side section is recessed beneath the bowl while the front apron continues down. This produces the asymmetric lower outline of the cutaway body.
Soft-cornered upper rim
Rectangular bowl above the recessed lower side
The upper outline joins straight side segments through soft corner curves. The bowl sits above the lower side recess, retaining its broad rear band.
Rear platform retained
Centred tap and round overflow above a central drain
The lower cutaway leaves the full rear deck intact. A centred tap position sits above the round rear overflow, with the drain inside the bowl.
