Rectangular Basin with a Saddle Rim
D143 combines an angular rectangular exterior with an upper profile that dips in the middle. This rectangular basin with a saddle rim rises again toward the ends in the factory side elevation. Smooth upright outside walls meet at defined corners, while the inner washing surface curves toward one central floor opening. A continuous ceramic edge surrounds that cavity without an integrated tap platform. The catalogue lists D143 as white ceramic for above-counter installation, measuring 510 × 370 × 120 mm overall. Its rectangular plan and changing upper profile describe the same body from different views. The published 120 mm height does not separately measure the lowered rim centre or usable inner depth.
Shape & size
Shape and size of D143
A dip in the upper edge of the elevation
The rim is lower in the middle and higher toward the ends
The original side view draws a concave upper line above the straight lower boundary. The photograph preserves that curved profile; no separate height is given for its middle.
Four straight sides in the complete top plan
Upright outside faces meet at angular corners
D143 retains a rectangular outer perimeter rather than rounded or bowed sides. Its smooth exterior and straight bottom remain distinct from the curving inner washing surface.
One washing surface around a central floor opening
The cavity continues without a rear tap platform
The plain ceramic rim follows one smooth bowl, with a single opening at the floor. Neither a tap deck nor a separate overflow is represented in the original source.
510 × 370 × 120 mm overall
Use D143’s complete exterior dimensions with its changing rim profile
Above-counter mounting and the white ceramic exterior are published together. The three outside measurements do not supply an interior depth or an independently measured lower rim level.
